Since I moved to Texas 2 years ago, I have spent dozens of hours and thousands of dollars trying to find a gym that takes fitness as seriously as I do. As a previous D1 Athlete, USAPL Record Holder, and Nationally Qualified Body Builder, I have very very high expectations of what I want from a gym. I had been disappointed with all my experiences until I stumbled upon Los. The first day I walked in the door, I was greeted by one of the owners, Tim, and had a delightful conversation over my Gen I GNC Raw duffle bag. At that moment, I knew I was in the right place. The gym itself has almost everything I could ask for equipment wise, and when I mentioned a couple of pieces I wish they had, the owners immediately ordered them!!! Talk about mind blown, and about people who really care about creating the right atmosphere for their clientele. Matt, the other owner, is probably one of the most charismatic people I have ever met. He is like everyones personal hype man the minute they walk through the door. If someone is going for a PR, he is there cheering them on and celebrating when they get it. These guys have successfully turned their gym into a safe haven for people who are serious about lifting. The only thing I could possibly complain about would be some of the "Influencers" who feel the need to set up a small production to record themselves "training" as they like to call it... SMH. Most of them are fine, and try not to disturb anyone else while doing their thing, which I can respect, but I had one issue with a girl named Bianca. I have never met someone so full of themselves, and condescending to everyone around them. She acted like she owned the place and was better than everyone in it, even though "mediocre at best" might be too graceful in describing her. I do have to credit the owners though, as I vocalized my irritations with her, and they defended her right to be there, creating content for her business. They are inclusive of everyone and support the success of all of their customers, as long as it isn't creating any real problems for the other members. Moral of this long story, Matt and Tim are fabulous business owners, and their amazing gym is the product of two people who really care about what they do, and the people they serve.... I would recommend this gym to EVERYONE!!!!

This gym is no joke! Specifically catered for “bodybuilder” culture but great for anyone interested in cream of the crop exercise equipment in a motivating environment. Great lighting and several mirrors is also a plus.

Wow I liked this gym because of the equipment they have. I went for almost a year consistently. But today I was treated incredibly rude by Matt, who is either the manager or owner of the gym.I moved recently and tried to cancel my membership via phone and email over 6 times. Each time I called the staff told me they couldn’t cancel my membership but to email Matt so he could take care of it. I emailed him 3 times & I never got a reply back.I called again today and finally got to communicate with Matt. He was incredibly rude to me on the phone, cut me off while talking, spoke in a condescending way and then hung up on me.As a paying customer of this gym I am honestly shocked at how disrespectful the owner of a facility could be. What absolutely horrible business practices but also just human decency.I had experienced Matt being rude in the past in person at the gym but thought, hey maybe he’s having an off day. Turns out he just thinks it’s okay to be incredibly disrespectful to people.I recommend you skip this gym and go to the gym Kollective instead - the equipment selection is much better and the people that manage it are kind and respectful.
