Good cleaning practices, but often busy in the evening. Good variety of machines and free weights and cable machines.

Retired Army and live full time in an RV. This is the worst i have see after a year. Bathrooms/showers are dirty, very cold and bad plumbing. Fine for a workout but avoid the bathrooms and show area. Some restaurants are close by to go to the bathroom tho.

I just joined a few months ago and have yet to enjoy a workout. The current promotion that allows students to work out for free has created an environment that isn’t pleasant. I’ve been every time of the day including 10pm and it’s always the same scenario, groups of kids loitering on the machines just hanging out or on their phones. If you’re going to offer a free program you should offer a class in gym etiquette so the paying members aren’t completely inconvenienced. You keep repeating the fact that you have a crowd meter but that doesn’t solve the problem, it’s a cop out for poor management.

I went today with a very strong commitment to enroll after reading their mask policy….unfortunately they DO NOT reinforce such policy. As soon as I entered a staff lady on front desk WAS NOT wearing a mask. Then during the tour I saw at least 30 or more people working out and NOT WEARING a mask. A beautiful place….but not safe during a pandemic.

I recently started visiting this location after it opened over the other one off White Ln and Hughes. I can say for sure this one is the better of the two considering how new it is. The equipment is updated and runs much smoother while the gym itself is pretty clean. I've noticed some machines will be out of order but the biggest issue is availability. It gets very busy to where I can't do half of the workouts that I want. I understand I go after 4pm which is the busiest time but it's the only time available for myself. I just try to get there as early as possible but it still is challenging looking for open spots. I will continue to visit here every now and again but I'd rather hit the old, ghetto spot that's less busy than this one. Also the location in Bakersfield it's in is good, pretty new and lots of places to hit up for fast food after you've put in so much work for nothing lol.
