Planet Fitness

First time back. I haven't been since the one on White Lane burned. This one is really nice. I have to drive a little further, but it's worth it.

Planet fitness rocks! Great and helpful staff! The amount of equipment bypasses any other fitness center I’ve been to. The environment is both energetic and relaxing and getting in shape never felt better! The rates are amazing so there are no more excuses not to work out!

I use the PF near my home in East Bakersfield, its perfect. But in occasion I visit the location on California ave. Both are clean and uncrowded.

All planet fitness smell like feet when you walk in, this one was no different. Lots of treadmills and ellipticals, not a lot of anything else. No suana (AZ has them). Staff was friendly. It's one of the smaller locations that I've seen.

I've been to alot of commercial gyms across the country. Commerical/franchise gyms usually have pretty high standards. Not this place! Before writing this review I have talked to the staff on site when I go at 3am to 5am. I even left a note to have a manager call me to discuss how gross this gym is. No response from the manager and thw staff doesn't seem to care. Now I can't speak for the girls locker room. But the guys is utterly disgusting. It has the feel of a backwoods truckstop. You have to take thw spray from the gym to clean before using the restroom. Toilet paper everywhere. The floors are a nightmare. The showers have blackmold and mildew buildup that you can't believe. Even the wet floor sign is filthy. They spend more time "moping" the gym area where everyone where's shoes instead of cleaning a floor where people have bare feet.Mayne this will solicit a response from someone.I went to two planet fitnesses in lancaster and Palmdale. Both were clean and great.

Visited this club on a long drive and wanted a shower (one of the perks of being a Black Card member). The club is on the smaller side but looked like it had all the usual equipment. Everyone looked like they were getting a good workout in.I really like the locker room, it was very spacious, clean, and had good lighting. I liked the showers as well (although 2 of 4 had broken handles). I liked the rain shower heads.One complaint, there were no blow dryers in the men’s locker room. We like to use them too. Would be nice if PF added blow dryers to all locker rooms without them.

Before come to gym , I had call to ask can I have free visit , and the guy on the phone assured me - yes I can , I took uber and came , but the girl on front desk , told me they don't do free classes any more , and I have to pay 22 $ for one time . So, I spent 15$ on uber in one way , and I need to pay 22$ for day visit - 55 $ in total kind of expensive.

Nice clean place for working out. Plenty of equipment in good working order.
