Love it here... #Discipline is key

Hi Everyone;My name is Scott and I moved to Texas 2 years ago because of health reasons. So in February I got clearance from the Doc and started my weight loss journey in February, I was almost 300 LBS At the time so I started to go to the gym in March, and by June I was 265 LBS, And I was strong enough to explore other weight loss avenues so, I met Professor Howells at another martial arts school in June and became pretty close with him as my coach, and by the end of June he asked me to visit his DoJo / Martial Arts Academy, so I went to my first class at the end of June! And fell in love with everyone there! Everyone from Professor Howells to all the Other Instructors including students, and parents was and still are extremely helpful, patient, respectful, and dedicated to helping me grow and lose more weight now it's October and I now weigh out at 225 LBS. All thanks to not only Professor Howells and his awesome people there but also to OBJJ in Lumberton for accepting me for me and encouraging me for these past 4 months! I will be eternally grateful and I'm excited to continue with Professor Howells and the Professor's At OBJJ for year's more to come!This is an awesome place to come Learn, Train, and make New Lifetime Friends!Sincerely!Scott Michael

I've trained here off and on for decades and now my son trains. He has grown so much over the last 2.5 years from a child that was scared to do more than sit against the back wall with me to a full Tiger Cubs graduate. Highly recommend!

The staff is always so polite and professional. This is my sons first experience with martial arts and he absolutely has a blast. The instructors teach great discipline and skill but also make it something the kids want to keep coming to do.

My son and daughter both go and they both LOVE it. The trainers are amazing and it's a great place to learn discipline, respect and how to be a great person overall. Highly recommend

Here is the reason for not giving a five star.My wife paid our son membership in full. Then we didn't renew due to our new born. We literally told everyone over there in different times that we can't continue. They all recorded that. Now when I check my card activity, I realized that we are charged for two months!.. We tried to call them today a few times yet failed to reach them. Apart from this, we are happy with their service. I hope they will be able to fix this soon.

Everytime we called about anything it was alwaysa confusion. They aren't on the same page. One of the ladies let me know I wouldn't be charged as long as I came in to sign before a certain date. I did and was …
