Tory is fantastic. I contacted her because I was a pretty inactive WFH employee and needed to get up and do something. She was very patient with me as a beginner, and months later we are getting pretty advanced! The results are certainly noticable. Not only do I see more muscle definition in the mirror, I just feel more sturdy and fit in day-to-day activities. Highly recommended!

Due to the nature of my job, I always have pain on the back of neck and shoulder. After taking pilates classes over a months, my body got much better. As an instructor, Tory is friendly and responsible as she make sure to check my body condition every time I come in and focus on what I need. Their schedule is very flexible, too!

I found Bodyvera through Instagram. I followed her page for a while before I decided I would give it a try. And I am so happy I did!She is knowledgeable and creative. I have a lot of back issues and she does a great job of letting me move in safe but FUN way.After every session I leave feeling taller, stronger and overall so good.I look forward to my sessions every week!

I'm no stranger to exercise or weight lifting, and when I heard about pilates, I thought that it was pretty girly. However, when I showed up to my appointment, I found that the exercises she had me doing worked out muscles I don't normally hit when I go to the gym. I never thought too much about the nuances of the body, so after the appointment, while I didn't feel the same soreness, I felt something different. My body felt more open and I felt like I was walking around with perfect posture. This all happened after a single appointment, so I'm curious to see what'll happen after a few more. I can't wait for my next appointment to come!

I was referred to Bodyvera Fitness by a client of hers. I have two daughters on their high school golf team and we were thinking of what types of exercises and conditioning they could do; something along the lines of yoga or pilates. As any golfer knows, the basic body movement (or non-movement) is that the lower body remains stable, and the upper body needs to twist/rotate. Tory understood this movement completely and tailored the exercises to strengthen the lower body and legs, to maintain stability; and to work on upper body and torso muscles such as the obliques so that the body can turn easily and with a lot of speed.They had several sessions with Tory, but you could see that the results were almost immediate, in terms of how much farther they were able to hit the ball, and how much more fluid and faster their swings appear to be.We highly recommend Tory for any type of fitness, conditioning, or strengthening that you want to accomplish. If you have something specific in mind, I'm sure that she'll be able to get you there in the most efficient and effective way as possible!!

Like so many women, I’ve always struggled with exercising consistently. Mostly I think this is because working out has always felt like a chore - something I should do, but not something I really want to do. Bodyvera Fitness is in the same building as my work, so it seemed like a good opportunity to try out pilates and see how I liked it, and how effective it was. I just finished up 12 weeks of working with Tory, the owner of Bodyvera - and I am SO glad that I found her!When I first started working with Tory, I was not very fit. I had strong biceps from rock climbing a few times a week, but was definitely lacking overall tone. Through pilates, I hoped that I could gain muscle and get more toned. You guys, the results I’ve seen working with Tory were SO FAR beyond my expectations. Over the three months I’ve been working with her, I’ve lost 20 pounds. My arms, abs, back, and glutes are all noticeably more toned, and I feel fantastic! What I loved about this process is that 1) I find Pilates fun (seriously, I actually look forward to doing it now), and 2) working with Tory was such a joy. I have an autoimmune condition that causes me to suffer from wrist pain, inflamed joints etc., and Tory is always willing and ready to modify exercises and brainstorm new ways for me to exercise within my limits. Tory is a genuinely kind, compassionate person who really wants to motivate you to succeed in your goals, and she made my entire pilates experience fun and full of encouragement.Tory has helped me become stronger, more aware of how to move my body, and helped me to feel more capable and confident than ever. Whether you’re a seasoned pilates pro or just considering giving Pilates a try, I can’t recommend Bodyvera Fitness highly enough.
