I was asked to take my toddler in for a short lesson before signing him up.This would be his first time, of course the purpose of starting with the little ones and his first time he did not know any of the basics. That is the purpose of why I wanted to sign him up, the instructor was very nice he told my 4yr old he would get a uniform at the end of the lesson. Well at the end of the lesson he told us he was not ready for it, that he needed more practice. As an instructor he should not expect any children to know everything. That is the purpose of paying for lessons, I was very dissapointed, him as an instructor. Not wanting to teach toddlers without experience, it seems like for it to be easier on him is to only accept children with experience. I would not recommend this place, not because he is not a good instructor because he is great, but because the expectations he wants with new children. I found a great new place and I happy to know there is always more options and instructors who have the heart and patience to teach.

This is an amazing place for children to learn the basics of martial arts in a supportive, inclusive environment. This school is everything a parent could ask for in a school like this. Ten stars, not five!
