One of the nicer city sports but 40% of the people who work out here need to learn gym etiquette.-There is always a machine or 4 broken. -People at the front are hit or miss. Not that they need to be super nice, but they tend not to be knowledgeable if you have questions.-Have to bring your own lock, but the vending machine does sell them-It is so packed from 5-8pm, it isn't even worth going because people fight over the machines-the pool and jacuzzi are usually in pretty good shape but the pool gets packed fast since it is only 2 lanes

Overall solid gym, good offerings in terms of benches, weights, etc there’s everything you need to get a great workout in. The people are also great. 3 stars is solely for how long it takes for equipment to be serviced at this gym. The water station on the second floor has been out of use for nearly a month or longer now and cables / machines are constantly out for extended periods of time. Outside of that, really solid gym and atmosphere.

I've been going to this gym for 5 years, it's a great Gym. I joined as soon as I moved here. For the price it's worth is and a good option. Mike a very helpful manager and in fact, convinced and encouraged me to join when I was about to quit. Staff is helpful as much as they can and is in their power! Hope you like it.

I’ve been coming here for 2 months . It feels like every week there is 3 machines that become out of service . If it wasn’t super packed all the time , it wouldn’t bother me . It also wouldn’t bother me of they actually fixed the machines . After they break , they don’t fix them . It’s crazy . 45 percent of the machines are out of service. I only took pictures of some of them.

Very aggressive sales people that made my decision not to join easy. I got a guest pass online. I called to confirm that I could use it when I got there. When I arrived I met Mike, a sales person who said they wouldn’t let me use the gym …

The gym facilities are good, but the service is poor. There is Lily, an African-American woman wearing glasses at the front desk, who is very enthusiastic towards white guests, but has a fierce attitude towards guests of other races, which …

Gym is nice. Mike needs to chill out. Super fake and condescending. Extremely aggressive sales approach which is fine if you’re not acting like my buddy and then change your demeanor when I don’t want to sign. See other low reviews about him. Rose tattoo on neck. Stay away

I hate to say it but I switched here from a well known low quality gym. And I honestly prefer the low quality one. The gyms sales tactics involving tricks and hidden fees. Then it’s missing things that other more affordable gyms offer. The range of hours are terrible. The weekend it doesn’t open until 8am and then closes 8pm. Despite many people choosing to workout on the weekend. Which then makes it even more crowded when it is open. The gym looks like it has a lot of equipment at a glance but, upon closer look you’ll see that it’s just repeat equipment. I honestly feel like the price doesn’t seem bad at first however when you compare to cheaper gyms that offer more it is way over priced. Oh and don’t even get me started on cleanliness and the attitudes and personality of the employees. They clearly don’t want to work here and I imagine management couldn’t be that great.

I had just ended my membership at Planet Fitness and wanted to try something new. So I decided to give City Club Sports a try. I've driven past this particular club many times and have always wanted to see the space. There is a wide variety of equipment to choose from. They have free weights and machines that can be utilized to meet your fitness needs. Lots of space, a pool, hot tub in locker rooms and parking is validated for 2 hours. I'm giving this gym 4 stars for two reasons. The first one is that some of the staff working here aren't very friendly. They won't even look your way and greet you, or say hi. Most gyms I go into the staff are thrilled to at least have some sort of human interaction with the members. The other reason is because, they don't have a pull up bar section that allows you to go up and over the bars for the muscle up workout (which is something I do often in my routines). Other than that, the gym is solid and I'm happy to have gotten my membership here. Looking forward to trying out other clubs in the Bay Area.

This gym has what you need and is reasonably priced, especially considering the generous plus one policy. Every time a member visits, they can bring a friend or someone from their family. I love it. Never too crowded. Basically clean. Members and staff are nice.
