I love this gym. I’m just wondering when it will be open 24hrs again.... it’s hard for me to get there earlier than 8:30pm during the week and then I don’t get a full work out. If it’s never going to go back to 24hrs I may need to cancel my membership which would suck.

I went in on the 26th of January (2021) to cancel my gym membership and was told there was a blance on the account of one month's membership fees, I happily paid it, cancelled my membership and left. The next day on the 27th, I had the same monthly charge come up on my debit card despite the fact that I paid the month's dues prior to cancelling. I called to speak to a manager and was told he would be in on the weekdays, so I finally got a chance to call in today due to the snow storm we had and expecting no one would be in the past few days. When I called, the manager was apparantly on the phone with someone else and I left my phone number with the very polite employee on the other side of the phone. About 25 minutes later, I called back to get it sorted out and lo and behold, the manager was totally free but didn't take any time to give me a call back. When I spoke to him, I had to explain the situation to him multiple times that I was charged twice. When I came to pay in, I paid on a different card than my usual card and I was charged the same fee on my debit card (the card linked to the membership) the next day. Despite the fact that he could literally see the charges on his computer, he told me "I have to make sure the charges went through correctly before refunding you by calling my billing company" apparantly monthly membership dues being billed twice do not warrant an immediate refund and despite the fact both of my cards were charged and I was charged double for one month's membership, there is still a need to "make sure the charges went through correctly." I have no idea how a charge that was debited from my debit card and charged on my other card were "charged incorrectly" as the monthly fees were removed at their exact amounts. This leads me to believe this gym tries to charge people as many times as possible in the hope people will either not check their invoices or not want to be bothered enough to call back and follow up considering the fact my situation is still not handled and I have called multiple times. In any other case of a merchant charging for services not rendered, it would be considered fraud. Stay away! Find a more ethical gym.Edit: I was refunded, but I'm going to leave my review up so other potential clients are aware than cancelling a membership at this gym with be a total pain and so current members know to diligently check their invoices for extra charges that may be charged to their accounts with no warning.

Went to gym with banking info. Was ask also for credit or debit card info for secondary payment info. Couldn't put me in without secondary payment info. It was a Ten dollar sign up fee and they can't accept cash. Staff was professional but can't understand with my bank account info why you need secondary payment info. Oh wait I know makes it harder to cancel. I'm retired law enforcement and had to resign from the gym months ago due to member mask noncompliance. Not staffs fault it was all on the membership. Goodluck and God bless.

I was a long-time premium member of the Planet Fitness, Nazareth Pa. When COVID hit, I tried to cancel my membership. The customer service person talked me into freezing the account.I noticed as of today 2/4/21 my bank account was debited for the past several months. Note, it has been more than 1+ years since I used the facility.I called Plant Fitness 2/4 with regards to the charges. It was explained that because I did not call in October to “refreeze” my account I was charged. As a courtesy, I asked if the Planet Fitness agent if he could at least refund the Jan. 2021 charge and cancel my membership being a long -time member. The agent confirmed their records showed I had not used the facility in more tan a year. He did cancel my membership, but refused to refund the Jan. membership fee and said I had until Feb 15th to use the facility for what I paid. You would’ve thought I was asking for world. Please note, I was joined this Gym prior to them opening. Was a member for many years.Update: Obviously, the owner posted a generic response before doing due diligence to confirm I was a paid member in good standing over 4 years!

DON’T JOIN UNLESS YOU’RE FULLY COMMITTED. I kinda just joined to see if I liked it, I was a classic member for a bit over a month then I decided to cancel my membership since I wasn’t really feeling it but here where the problems start. When I canceled my membership, I had to pay a $58 fee for the 12-month commitment, so I’m like fair enough and paid. Then 2 days later out of nowhere I get hit with another fee, a $39 one that apparently is the “annual fee” or something which got me confused because I could of sworn that was the same as the 12 month commitment. For all I know there’s probably another sneaky fee I haven’t seen. So I basically paid over a hundred bucks just to go to the gym for a month, so much for “$10 a month”.

The facility is fine, the staff and corporate policies are garbage. They do not notify you when your membership is ending and instead just auto renew and hit you with a "non-refundable" annual fee. Then when you discuss this with their less than helpful staff you are greeted with what would equate to a " ¯\_(ツ)_/¯". Proper customer service would have been to refund a customer who didnt want to renew your service and had it done without their authorization. Fortunately my bank has great customer service and will be happy to dispute this fraudulent and unauthorized charge. Good luck with the business though, you sure looked "booming" when I was forced to come in and cancel in person like we are still in the stone ages.

Not sure why so many negative comments. Place is always clean, friendly staff and members, tons of equipment so you never wait. I was never charged a dime while they were closed for COVID. I joined before the club even opened so it’s been a few years now. Never had one issue. Those complaining about the auto renew and cancel policies; all was explained in detail when I signed up. Having my Amex as a backup payment is awesome. It’s the gym so I rarely have my wallet with me and if I forget a bottle of water I just grab one and they charge my card for me. Very convenient.

Love going to workout at this place. But its lacking later hours on the weekend when everyone us off from work and it would do wonders if it offered some type of childcare.
