Taylor Gymnasium, located at Lehigh University, offers a range of fitness facilities. It includes a full fitness center, rock climbing wall, squash courts, and basketball courts. The gym is suitable for students, faculty, and staff affiliated with the university, providing a somewhat private atmosphere.
However, the gym is old-fashioned with outdated equipment, and it can get crowded during peak hours. The swimming pool has limited availability, and cleanliness in the men's showers is lacking. Despite this, the gym remains a convenient option for a lunchtime workout or regular exercise.

- Rock climbing wall
- Squash courts
- Basketball courts
- Somewhat private atmosphere
- Suitable for university affiliates
- Convenient for lunchtime workouts
Cons:

- Cleanliness issues in men's showers

This fitness center is grossly inadequate for the size of the Lehigh University community. Hardly space to breathe in the main weight room during peak hours let alone enough space to get a good workout. An additional fitness room with limited equipment is located on the 5th floor but only for limited hours. The pool is ancient and only open for lap swimming about 6 months out of the year with extremely limited hours. Lifeguards wear street clothes to boot. I once saw a lifeguard wearing knee-high leather boots -- hey, I'm drowning, please save me! Be right there. I have to take off my knee-high leather boots first! - There is a neat rock climbing wall and some nice squash courts along with basketball courts. Men's showers are not kept clean and definitely not a place to shower barefoot. Being that Lehigh is a Division I school with 7,000 plus undergraduate and graduate students, this place just doesn't cut it. The building houses the administrative offices for Lehigh Athletic coaches and staff. They might want to consider sending them over to Goodman where the varsity athletes train and create space that can be reconfigured to build a better Taylor Gymnasium.

Some of the equipment is so old I literally have no idea how to use it. The gym is small and the equipment is from 1980

This is Lehigh University gym, unfortunately the old facility and equipments make it old fashioned compare to other places. But the atmosphere is great plus it's kinda private for only students, faculty and staffs who are affiliated with Lehigh University. Over all I prefer to use this one rather than going to a public gym.
