This YMCA is super nice. The staff is really good and the programs they offer are excellent. Had a great workout here. They have a good selection of classes for everyone. My mom and aunts enjoy the senior citizens classes.

I enjoyed the gym but to be honest there were a lot of older individuals at the gym that were straight up mean. I got yelled at for listening to music in my headphones and scolded for checking my phone for literally two seconds to switch the song I was listening to. I also got criticized for working out while I was pregnant and at that point I went to the staff and they really didn’t do anything about it. That’s not necessarily something the staff can prevent but that doesn’t mean I should have to put up with it so I went to planet fitness. There’s only one of everything at this location and there were times I’d literally wait 30 minutes for one machine. I still enjoy taking my son to the swimming classes and everything even if I have to pay the non member price so I’ll continue to do that. So I mean it’s not all bad.

An amazing community asset. The new kid care shade for the playground was a good investment. I don't feel like this is a fancy or exclusive gym, but it is what we need here for these times- a place where we can get fit and focus on our health and community. Swimming lessons are very inexpensive compared to the gift our kids learned. We haven't gone in-person since March, but we keep our membership going to support this great place.

Pricing seems to have increased, but classes and equipment seem to still be good. Childcare area is big and fun for kids. Nice waking/running track upstairs. Basketball courts are well maintained. Pool area is perfect for the kids and adults alike. Swim lessons were very good. Friendly staff. Would love to see pricing fixed a bit so we could get a membership again!

I enjoyed this gym when I first started, however, I decided to cancel after less than a month for many reasons. First, the fact that kids are allowed to run around the gym and use workout equipment is beyond me and I've never seen that at a …

I love working out at the Burnsville YMCA; great mixture of young and old, friendly people, families and individuals, helpful staff, great diversity. I'm always able to use the equipment I want. Always lots going on in a high energy environment. Fun to be there.

Great facility. Friendly staff. They have all the machines I'd want, really good classes, and it hasn't been way too busy to get a good workout in any of the times we've gone. Affordable membership for a couple - much more reasonable than Lifetime!

We recently canceled after being members for about a year. We were paying $114/ mo for 2 adults. The only thing at the Y we used was the gym. Which, IMO, isn't worth $114/ mo. Maybe if you have kids or can use some of the other services the …

We only went to the pool as guests, but the pool was great. Shallow side for non-swimmers, deeper side for swimmers, and separate Lanes for swimming laps. Hot tub for those over age 15, and sauna too. Plenty of lifeguards around. Family …
