Great place to work out with knowledgeable coaches from a variety of backgrounds. Plenty of class options including in-house yoga taught by excellent instructors that explain the finer details of movement.

I love TPH! I tried out personal training as a birthday indulgence and it quickly became one of the most important things I do. My coach is experienced, knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun, and makes me love being pushed to do more than I thought I could. Group classes are also great, as other reviews have detailed.

I appreciate this gym! I came across it through Classpass. I like the community, location, and challenging but reasonable “Workout of the day.”It’s a small-ish class, workouts are different every day, and classes (+ the gym) accommodate both Crossfit types and people just seeking structured exercise, like me. Instructors are mindful of people’s varying levels and offer modifications and helpful tips. They incorporate lifting often. I came in without much experience with weights and have been able to learn along the way. There seem to be many regulars here, a mixed bag of ages. There are events for community building + some chatting in classes. It’s not overbearing if you aren’t trying to chat though.

Great gym, primarily Crossfit classes, but they do have a select set of specific improvement classes like Strength and Olympic (barbell) Lifting. Knowledgeable and helpful coaches for all aspects of sporting activity. TPH will make you better!

I have been going to powerhouse for around 6 months and love it. The class sizes are small and the coaches do a great job of helping ensure you have correct form for lifts. I would definitely recommend Powerhouse!

What I love about The Power House is that is a neighborhood gym. With real people who are working hard. I am a busy office working sitting around person who loves to hike, bike, swim, run, sign up for events when a friend wants to try something, so I need to be in decent shape. Plus I care about how I look but I don't have a ton of time. Jenna had me doing deadlifts on Monday morning. A lot of them. And several other things. But she modified the workout to fit my needs. And cheered me on and helped me with my form. And called me by my name. I really appreciate this hidden gem!! And Jenna - you are AMAZING!!
