I recently joined Planet Fitness in Lockport, Illinois and really enjoy my fitness experience everytime I go. The gym is clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Today I had a dilemma, my husband has been coming as my guest and has decided to become a member also. I called to see if there were any promotions available. The manager, Bobby was very helpful and got back to me within minutes to make it a smoothe transition to get my husband signed up.I plan to move out of state in the next several months and I chuckle to myself because I look on the PF website to see where the closest location is so I can decide if that's the area where I will move.I will recommend Planet Fitness to everyone.Thanks for the great service and providing a friendly place to get healthy!

This is an excellent gym. There is a wide variety of machines to use, all of which are in good to excellent condition. The staff members are very friendly and courteous, sticking closely with the judgment free mission statement.

Fantastic gym. The staff are helpful and friendly, equipment is clean, and there are a ton of machines and free weights to choose from. If you live in the area and are looking for a great gym, go with Planet Fitness.

I joined the Lockport Planet Fitness last November shortly after they openedopen it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The equipment is great and the entire atmosphere really is a judgement free zone. The manager and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the black card membership so you can enjoy the hydro massage beds after your workout!

I have been with Tinley for 2 years. I moved to Joliet a year ago and hated Joliet so I kept going to Tinley. I dont like Tinley at all but I never thought about seeing what other locations there were. This morning I found Lockport. I figured I'd check it out seeing I work in Orland and live in Joliet, it's in the middle. When I walked in I liked the fact its smaller. Employee greeted me, super nice. I dont remember his name. I couldn't believe how clean this location was and amazed how new the tanning beds were compared to Tinleys old burnt out beds. Out of order signs on the stand up one there for 2 months, tv put for 4 months. I switched my home location to Lockport and actually excited to go back tomorrow! Thanks to Julio who made me feel so welcomed after the transfer went through! Keep up the good work Lockport!

First time coming here and the guy at the desk said my card was declined. So, he looks at me and asks me where are you coming from and I said Joliet . He rolled his eyes at me and said Only Black card members can come in. I'm not upgrading to the black card and this is the first time I've ever had a problem with. I've been to the one in Tinley, and the ones in the city and the people at the desk are so much nicer and friendly.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They genuinely like to see you when you come to work out!! So different than the gyms where the front desk person is so busy texting they don't even see people come and go. Planet Fitness in Lockport is the friendliest and most positive place to work out.

Planet Fitness in Lockport is a great place to workout! I love the fact that the gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! I always feel comfortable working out there. I also like the fact that I can bring my son as a guest every time I go. I would definitely recommend working out here!

I love the new club! Everyone is very friendly and informed, plus all the equipment and locker rooms are always immaculate!! LOVE the Hydromassage beds and Total Body Enhancement that I have access to as a Black Card Member! Great value for the money! Val, Darcy, Julio, and Matt are the best!

Great place to get fit. Key word "fit."Heaviest dumbbells max out at 60, and squat racks are self-assisted.There are more than enough benches to go around, e.g. if you like bench press with dumbbells.The gym is regularly cleaned and smells fresh throughout.Overall, this gym cares about their customer's experience.*Update 08/25/18*They have updated the dumbbells with the max being at 75 lbs. Nice improvement!
