1 star for not honoring my unsubscribe requests, a shower area that usually smells like a sewage backup, and a deplorable/rarely varied music selection .

Extremely crowded during rush hour. Newly renovated locker room is nice.

I initially had a lower rating, mainly because the gym was closed to setup for an event that I was unaware of. Looking back, equinox did the right thing by sending an email out letting everyone know it would be closed, and the event was for a good cause.Overall, I would recommend equinox but keep in mind that during peak times the place can get crowded and the cleanliness of the facility can fall behind a bit during those times. Even so, it’s a lot nicer than showering at most other gyms. I wouldn’t mind more flexible hours, but I’m probably the minority in that compared to everyone else.

Very nice facility, definitely has the best locker rooms out of all the Boston locations. The club on Avery street should take note. Most of the staff are pleasant, especially the membership consultants (but they’re salespeople), a couple of employees forget they work at Equinox, they have the work ethic and mentality of people who belong at a planet fitness.
