I started at Bolder Pilates as a total newbie to pilates. To be honest, I was not quite convinced that I could actually do challenging exercises with a bad back. Emily S. took me under her wing and has been my biggest cheerleader as I progress through this journey of healing. Over the last few months I have felt measurable improvements in my mobility and flexibility and I owe it all to Emily. She is able to tailor exercises to my specific needs and is very conscientious about making sure that each move is challenging but not stressful on my back. Her never ending patience and encouragement keep me going even when I feel like I'm making a fool of myself.I would highly recommend this business for those who have considered trying pilates but were too intimidated or too afraid to walk into a yoga studio with no prior experience. Emily and the other instructors have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and supported.

After a wrist injury in yoga, I was gutted to have to take a break from my yoga practice. However since finding Bolder pilates I realized how much more I needed help with my spinal alignment and overall posture. I have been practicing now with the AMAZING crew at Bolder pilates for 4 months and will continue to do so. I also noticed how much pilates got me in shape before my wedding. For any future brides needing support in getting into your body, in healing an injury or just wanting to compliment your running/cycling practice this is the most knowledgable fun Pilates crew I've found! Thanks Donna, Emily and Lexi for all your dedication, fun and challenging classes!!!!

I've had experiences at numerous fitness centers (Barre, Orange Theory, and typical gyms) but working with the team at Bolder Pilates has been a wonderful experience. First I never knew how beneficial and challenging pilates could be for someone with injuries who also wants to push themselves. The team at Bolder Pilates pushes me to my limit while being mindful of multiple injuries. Oh and they're hysterical too which makes the hour fly by. I would highly recommend Donna and her team!

Lexy is amazing! I have been so impressed by her attention to detail and her depth of anatomy and body alignment. As a physical therapist I am pretty selective about where I'll go for therapeutic exercise and Lexy is at the top, a true gem in the field of pilates.

The ladies at Bolder Pilates are not only amazing instructors they are also just amazing people. I came in with fairly severe sciatica and a couple of injured joints and Donna and Lexy did an amazing job figuring out what I could work on to strengthen my stabilizing muscles and fix my issues. In May when I started I couldn't walk more than half a mile, much less run or hike. Now, in September, I just climbed Longs Peak and ran a 5k with NO pain. I can't say enough good things about this place! On top of everything else I also look way fitter now than I ever have. If you are looking to live a more pain free life or just want to become as fit as your body allows, go to Bolder Pilates!

I am doing Prenatal one-on-one pilates with Donna and it's great for me to get stronger and ready for my first baby. She is extremely knowledgable, and makes me feel safe and secure as my body changes. I definitely recommend her studio (I have also worked with Lexy who is also great). The studio itself is beautiful and clean.

I've been working with Lexy for about 4 months now with incredible results. Like most Boulder, 30-somethings, I've been in and out of physical therapy, orthopods, and private/group gym training and classes as the result of a active lifestyle. Most of those focus on pain management, not long term corrective exercises and strengthening. I've never had such focused and isolated muscle strengthening like I've gotten and Bolder Pilates. The ability to not workout from a script but rather build a session based on how I'm feeling that moment and adjusting in real-time when posture, pain or kinematics dictates is incredible and effective. I've never done anything that has been so beneficial to my skiing and cycling. Looking at results, there really isn't a bigger bang for the buck in town. Additionally, it's served as a great way to combat the negative effects of a office/desk day job.

Wow! I am in awe of the phenomenal pilates instruction at Bolder Pilates. As a doctor of physical therapy I have been hugely impressed by the high caliber, attention to deal and overall excellence offered by the instructors at this studio. In both small group classes and individualized sessions the instructors are so in tune with movement, breath, and create an easeful experience ensuring both safety and results. I rate it highly and would not hesitate to recommend Bolder Pilates to my clients.
