My visit with Elizabeth McClain was very pleasant. She took her time trying to understand my lower back issue and work on me. I regained stability immediately after this first visit (temporarily, but this is a long term issue). I most admired her sincerity/lack of pretense/honesty and kindness. I left feeling joyful and I am not easily affected. I certainly recommend seeing her.

this studio is an absolute gem: the class size is small, so participants get individualized attention; instructors have impressive knowledge of anatomy: many more muscles are recruited and strengthened than any other training session i've attended (serratus, sartorius for example). Of course, my core is notably stronger, which helps me on my bike, with my breathing, and endurance. Finally, I am impressed with my increased spinal mobility , overall increased strength, and flexibility. Sessions are all different which keeps things from feeling too predictable or dull. Renee, Tambre, and Rende are great - though my guess is all the teachers are wonderful!

In 1993 I suffered a devastating accident that changed my life. I was in bad shape, hurting and suffering everyday with each movement. When Renee and David entered my care regiment my movement and healing began. I had suffered 2 years of poor healthcare advise, but somehow my fate brought me to Boulder Bodyworks. I owe them so much for giving me back my life and helping me to accomplish being the best person I can be for myself and my family. They are amazing, caring and comprehensive care givers! Thank you!

Give your body what it deserves and go to Boulder body works. It’s the best investment you can make for your body. I was a complete mess before I started seeing Amy and Renee. Both of my pregnancies were problematic and left my pelvic floor pulverized.I’ve always been athletic and love to bike ride outside.I’ve always felt fit and strong but I’d have all sorts of ailments from my pelvic floor being weak and damaged. My back and neck were also bothering me.After about 2 months I started to see that my posture improved dramatically and my pelvic floor issues started to minimize.I see them twice a week and feel like I have a new body. I’m stronger from the inside out. I don’t have to see my chiropractor every week and barely go to him anymore because my Pilates classes are preventing me hurting myself.Another thing I’ve noticed is that I’m trimmer and leaner looking so that’s a plus on top of everything else! There’s a reason why all the celebrities do Pilates!

Continues to be the best massage option in Boulder, aside from being a gorgeous space. Not only is BB smartly run by two amazing owners, the expertise of their instructors sets the standard for pilates. Genuine, lovely and professional, I'm a client for life!

My physical therapist recommended this studio to help me gain and maintain core strength. Since I started attending regularly my back is far less sore and I move more freely. I love this place because there are no fitness gimmicks, just really knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming instructors. The space is also beautiful. All Pilates classes are pricey but I consider these a lifetime investment.

Some of the most skilled therapists across the board I have ever worked with. All of their Pilates staff is amazing—incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and detailed. David, the co-founder and main osteopath, is out of this world incredible, a shaman of the human body and truly one-of-a-kind gifted healer.

I've been going to Pilates classes at BoulderBodyworks for 10 years, and it's been one of the best gifts that I could have given to my body. I started when I was pregnant, and Gina's prenatal Pilates class got me hooked - I truly credit Gina and Pilates with getting me through a lengthy delivery! From there, I continued with a few postpartum classes, and have been doing mat classes ever since. I can't say enough about Camcie Foster. She has an amazing ability to add new dimensions to the exercises "we thought we knew". She also has a sharp eye, and recognizes each individual's abilities and differences, helping us to make the appropriate corrections, and to continue to improve on each exercise. Yay, BoulderBodyworks!!

What an amazing pilates studio! I have taken classes at other studios when I travel but I've never had a class where you get such individual, personalized attention. The instructors are incredibly creative which helps keep the classes fun and new every time. They are passionate about their field and always continue to learn more by taking new seminars/classes themselves. All of the instructors are great - Camcie, Kelly, Gina are who I've worked with the most. I feel very fortunate that I found BBW 12 years ago!

Boulder Bodyworks is a wonderful place full of extremely skilled practitioners. I lived for 33 years without "getting into" bodywork in any real way--except for the occasional massage while on vacation--but then I had a baby. Pregnancy and childbirth brought some longstanding physical issues to light. Namely, very loose ligaments and very tight muscles. The combo of these problems results in various aches and pains and even caused me to have restricted mobility for a period of time.I sought relief from chiropractors and massage therapists after having my child. One practitioner recommended that I start to practice Pilates in order to strengthen my very weak core, so I tried out BBW. That was 16 months ago, and ever since, I am there AT LEAST once a week.I have had wonderful experiences learning Pilates from Gina Hughes, Renee Beshures, and Kelly Athey. They are all extremely knowledgable and attentive to individual client needs. In addition, I am a regular client of Elizabeth McClain, and her osteopathic manual therapy techniques combined with her deep passion for bodywork has restored my mobility many times over when my body has been out of whack and in pain.Last, but certainly not least, it has been utterly life-changing to work with Camcie Foster over the past 16 months. Her role at BBW is Pilates instructor, but she is that and so much more. I have seen her twice a week for well over a year, and in that time she has taught me so much about my body while helping me to gain strength in a way I never thought possible.Camcie's deep passion for her work shines through in every client encounter. She is so incredibly focused and mindful the entire session--her eyes never leave my body as she studies my movements and posture, noting subtle nuances and questioning painful areas that I haven't even had a chance to mention to her. I feel that I have been able to gain strength without causing injury because of her hawk-eyed attentiveness to the way that I move while we work. She is truly a body-magician.My husband has tightness and various aches and pains and he now goes to Camcie as well. My father has arthritis and other problems that affect his mobility and he also sees Camcie at my recommendation. Both are satisfied customers.I cannot rave enough about the incredible team at BBW.
