Friendly people (staff and attendees), excellent variety of classes, great equipment, nice pool/hot tub and sense of community. I get to vary my workouts, try new things or stick to the same-olds, and hit the sauna.

The after school care through the YMCA is a disaster. They feed the children expired food from the local food bank, have employees that lack child development education ( as they pay their employees minimum wage) and discriminate/single out …

Nice facility but employees just don’t seem to care. Family bathrooms/showers are locked & when open have no changing table. Cardio area is about 10 degrees warmer than you’d want to exercise.

I’ve been a member of the YMCA since 1991, I was a 1 year old when my parents started their membership. I ended it for one month while I was moving in the summer of 2018 because I didn’t have a need for the gym. Now after 26 years they want …

On day two of my YMCA membership and couldn't be happier. Registration and tour were smooth as butter yesterday and the staff were happy to accommodate me by ensuring we were wrapped up before my class begin (hooray for lunchtime TRX). …

The staff is great and the location is convenient but the gym section is seriously undersized for the amount of people there. It's not uncommon to wait 5-10 minutes to use a bench or squat rack. All the while, I've never seen the cardio area even half utilized. This place needs a serious expansion to handle the amount of traffic in the free weight area. Also, many members don't re-rack their weights; gets old.

This is a great gym! It is the cheapest gym I found in Boulder that still offers so much. Swimming, Racquetball courts, extremely good weights and cardio rooms, more classes than you can ever want and a great experience all round. They offer rates for couples and joint memberships with the climbing gym across the road. The atmosphere is also very laid back, with a real mixture of people making me feel comfortable wherever I am in the gym. I highly recommend!!

We have been family members for a long time. Unfortunately, the Y is becoming less and less family friendly, and more oriented to adults. Recent policy changes have further limited family friendliness. We have checked out the Boulder Recreation Centers and would recommend those facilities for Boulder Valley families.

The YMCA is a fantastic facility for both exercise, and building community. I love their workout classes and, more importantly, I LOVE the people I exercise with. This is a down to earth gym that gives back to the community. My body feels good after going for a workout at the YMCA, and so does my heart.
