I just had my first personal training session ever, and it was with Alex at Functional Fitness. She made the experience fun, but also gave me a good challenge! She explained and demonstrated all the exercises and motivated me to complete each set. Alex was motivating and let me help structure how I wanted to spend my hour. Sam at Functional Fitness taught my husband exercises to do regularly that literally saved him from weeks of back trauma each year (it used to go out about 3 times a year and he had to stop working for a week at a time). Its been 3 years and its has never gone out again. I, personally, got the lucky chance to work with Alex for about 6 months who has helped me transform back into a strong, high-energy mommy. The vibe there is relaxed and wonderful, and the depth of knowledge unmatched.

I've been going to Functional Fitness for over 4 years now. What a great find. Kaitie has been my trainer for the entire duration and she is fabulous! I've worked with a couple of other trainers & therapists at FF and they each have their own strengths. I love that it isn't rows of treadmills and stationary bikes. There is an amazing variety of equipment packed into a personal sized gym. Sam runs a great gym!

I've worked with the staff at Functional Fitness for a few years now. Sam Iannetta has an incredible amount of knowledge regarding mobility and fitness that he uses expertly to help get you moving properly and educated to better yourself for the rest of your life. The trainers here all work together in dealing with YOU personally so that you really get a sense that they care about your well being and physical health, never leaving you to suffer from a workout or muscular pain. The trainers and the massage therapists here also work together so should you be having difficulty with an exercise or movement, they communicate excellently together to resolve the issue and make your life better.

I am a CU Boulder Student and I have been working with Sam for the past 6-7 months. His knowledge, skill and personality is unmatched by any coach or trainer I have ever worked with (I played basketball my entire life). My overall athleticism, strength and health has improved greatly over my time working with him and he has taught me many important life lessons along the way. Our sessions are insightful, I work hard, and I learn something new every time, he is more than just an athletic trainer - he is a mentor and friend. If you want to improve your physical health, learn how to properly train your body and have quite a few laughs along the way there is no one better than Sam.
