If you're looking for hard workouts with a surprising amount of mental challenge and a vibe that is simultaneously as old school and welcoming as you'll find anywhere The Corner Boxing Club is the place to be.Coach Carrie is the real deal. But more than that, the culture she's created flows down through the staff and the athletes, and The Corner is now the fitness home for me (late 50s, former hardcore triathlete/endurance athlete & coach), our high-schooler (former kickboxer and gymnast), and most recently our 10 year old wilding.Just show up... you'll be glad you did.

I'm not a boxer yet I go to this gym. I'm learning a lot and my fitness improvements are wonderful. For 6+ months, Coach Carrie has been personal training me starting on a specific thing I wanted to learn. Then targeting some general issues. Then guiding a middle-aged body through improving rotational flexibility and stability. I wouldn't have guessed I had problems with those (other than acknowleding room for improvement). I've been studying up though (Peter Attia and Andy Galpin) and, turns out, stability is critical for aging well. Coach Carrie knows...she's got my back (and my balance). This gym is for young boxers, champion boxers, my kids! and all ages improving their athleticism. There are even classes for Parkinson’s disease where movement is a research-proven primary treatement and prevention strategy. Amazing.

The Corner is the best gym I have ever been a part of. With experienced coaches that are fantastic at explaining technique, it's a great place to learn how to box. You can also get the best workouts of your life. Training here will leave you feeling fit, fast, and strong. The community is welcoming and both supports and challenges you. Definitely a gym where instead of being annoyed by the music choices, you'll find yourself grooving to them. Highly recommend!

The Corner Boxing Club initially grabbed my attention for being veteran owned so I began to attend classes and was welcomed warmly from the start. Coach Carrie is an excellent instructor and it is a privilege to train with her as well as the other coaches. Coach Prikasa is also a great teacher! His class will keep your heart pumping simultaneously with strengthening core fundamentals. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the gym/coaches!

The Corner Boxing Club is the best gym experience I have ever had! Boxing is a sport for anyone: novice to expert and the coaches here are great at specifying the training to meet your needs. I especially enjoy Coach Prikasa´s classes because they are challenging yet fun and he has helped me improve my technique immensely. The gym itself is kept immaculately clean and the community as a whole is extremely friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Punching things has been a great way to relive stress lately and I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a safe and enjoyable way to exercise.

I have been coming here for six months and I am more fit then I have been in a long time. Every time I come here I leave completely drenched in sweat. What a workout!!! I feel so much more confident knowing I can throw a punch too!! All the trainers are class acts. Carrie is extremely knowledgeable and gives you the skills needed to box with good form. I highly recommend some personal time with her. Diego blew me away when I heard he was only 16. He had total control over the class and made it super fun. He also gave pointers during class to correct bad habits. Prikasa’s class is hard and super fun. Just be careful with the young trainers… there classes are the hardest 😜. Everyone who trains here has been super nice and it is super supportive environment. I highly recommend this gym.

I’ve been going to The Corner Boxing Club for a little over a year and a half now and am so thankful for everyone at the gym. The gym is a great community and everyone is there to support everyone. The coaches are fantastic and very accomplished boxers. This is the place to be if you want a great workout but also want to learn the actual fundamentals of boxing. Carrie pushes me to the best I can be and even though I’m completely exhausted after a class I leave feeling great about myself. I originally came to this gym to get in shape after a back injury left me out of the gym for several years but I’ve found lifelong friends who are also there to support me outside of the gym.

Seriously the best boxing gym out there. My experience from day one was nothing short of inspiring. I was super intimated to try boxing, but Carrie who taught my first class was motivating, positive, and excellent at teaching. Since then I have been to several different classes with different instructors who are not only amazing coaches, but have great personalities as well. I always learn something new and come away every time with a great workout. This isn’t just a boxing gym, it’s a community of great people and coaches who truly have passion for what they do!

The corner is one of my favorite places to be in all of Boulder. Coach Carrie has not just created a gym, but a community. When I go to a class, I feel an instant connection with others. I also do personal training with the gym which has really helped me meet my general fitness goals while learning to box. In the fall, Diego was my trainer and he was awesome with helping me with my form and skill development. I recommend him as a trainer if you start going here. This spring, though, I injured my hand badly and had to have surgery in March. I felt really sad because my physical therapist said I wouldn’t be able to box for a long time. But once I was well enough, I started working independently with Carrie, and she has modified everything to get me back into boxing while doing rehab for my hand. She even always checks in on me after to ask how my hand is. I don’t know if any other gym that would do that. Pricing is very fair, and I feel so good knowing that The Corner is a nonprofit with such meaningful programs.
