Fantastic. Indoor and outdoor pools, an ice-rink, indoor turf fields, basketball courts, a jogging track, and expansive cardio and resistance training equipment are just a few of the amenities you can find here.

A lot of the equipment is outdated or just worn out. Its way too hot and overcrowded they only have a couple of the good machines. Expect to wait a while for machines because people working out in groups of 5 is not uncommon. For how much they charge every semester, you're getting minimal return.

This gym is always so hot, I don't know if they forgot AC was invented but it seems like it's never used. Everything is always being fixed. One water fountain has been broken since February and only now they've decided to fix it. Also be prepared to meditate because you're going to wait a long time for one machine.

Gym always overcrowded. Constant groups of 5 people using 1 machine. I don’t know if the gym doesn’t have AC or something but it is always at a constant 90 degrees which makes it impossible to work out. Only one area of the gym has dumbbells going up to 100.

The fitness center here is an absolute joke. Machines are constantly broken awaiting maintenance, and the design is extremely poor where all of the equipment is broken up into 3 different floors/rooms of the gym. Staff are very difficult to deal with and they enforce rules that can even be harmful to lifters. This place gets completely swarmed with students from about 4-8:30pm and it's practically impossible to have a time efficient workout as you're waiting on other people to finish their sets.If you don't have an automatic free membership from the university, go to Crunch. They charge about the same price but the gym is spacious and clean with up to date equipment there as well as a sauna. Two stars for the janitorial staff here who somehow keep this place squeaky clean daily. Everyone on that staff deserves a raise.

When I was a student this amazing place didn't exist (or at least part of it). Such a great amenity! I came here for an alumni event and we were actually in nice business rooms that are to the back left of this photo of the ice arena. Amazing facilities!

The vibrant most place in CU Boulder. The place where you want to come after a long day to exercise and chill. The subscription for students is reasonable though it is a tad high for staffs and postdocs. It is completely worthy btw considering the amazing indoor facilities it has! The swimming pool is so tempting in summer!

On campus recreation center is top of the line. Ice hockey arena, basketball courts, running track on the 2nd level. Soccer field inside as well. Great weight room and exercise facility!

During my time in CU Boulder, I spent most of my time here. The perfect REC center inside out, can easily spend hours in here and every thing is available, free weights, lifting rooms, machines, 20 different type of cardio machines. I miss this place and highly recommended

This is a great place for students to stay fit throughout the school year. Everything you need is here. Basketball, indoor track/turf, weight lifting, out/indoor pools. There are also tons of space and rooms available for non weight training such as cardio HIIT and other related stuff. If you take advantage of this place, youll definitely avoid the "Freshmen-15!"
