I've now been a member here 18 months, and its by far the most consistently I've used a gym membership. I really enjoy the trainers and the women I've met there. Paying a little more for small group training means I actually go--even/especially when I'm recovering from an injury. I get a great workout tailored to me.

I have been a member her for 5+ years, and love the community of women and quality trainers. They will challenge you regardless of your age, fitness level, or ability, and adapt exercises as needed. Having an appointment insures that I get myself there regularly...highly recommend!

UPDATING MY REVIEW FROM 3 YEARS AGO:2021:GET IN SHAPE FOR WOMEN is fantastic, and the Porter Square location is absolutely wonderful. I’ve been working out here for six years. John and the other trainers are experts, as well as warm people, demanding in a good way, and very responsive to individual needs and requests. The facility is pristine, and the atmosphere is friendly and fun. I love this place!2018:Great trainers , great training , fun and motivating and effective. Wonderful!!!

I've been coming to the gym for over three years now and absolutely love both the workouts and the community. John is a joy to work out with and I've met some great women in the small-group training classes . The pandemic has been difficult both physically and mentally so I was excited to come back. I feel really safe with all the COVID protocols in place at the gym and it's great to be back and working out again. 10/10 would recommend.

I've been a member at Get In Shape For Women Porter Square for 2+ years now and cannot recommend this studio highly enough! The workouts are challenging but tailored to your individual needs/abilities and the community of women who work out together make every session that much more enjoyable. Everyone is super supportive, kind, and positive. John does an amazing job of motivating everyone and keeping every workout fun through his positivity, Dad jokes and dance moves. He's also taken and continues to take all recommended precautions for COVID, which makes working out feel super safe. Katie is fantastic to work out with as well and does an excellent job combining old and new exercises to keep every session interesting.

Nice place for a quick workout with friendly atmosphere. Get a weights workout in and then hit some cardio, better price than many other gyms in the area

Highly recommend. Whether you’re a hardcore athlete or just starting to think about getting fit, you’ll find the right fit here. Also, given COVID, I feel very safe with the small group model.
