Goldfish Swim School - North Canton

We love coming here. My almost 4 year old is learning how to swim. The facility is always clean and staff is super friendly. Also a fun winter activity In Ohio. They have hair driers and changing rooms as well as little gifts for the kids every week! Super fun.

We are a foster family. All of our children who have ever stayed with us have taken swim lessons at Goldfish. It is with every dollar spent. Our own two children swim at Goldfish. Our 3 and a half year old began swimming at Goldfish at the age of 15 months. Not only can she swim 15 feet independently, but she has lifesaving skills to help her if she ever gets in a scary water situation. She knows exactly what to do. Goldfish is consistent and has a huge focus on safety.

Every interaction that I have had with the goldfish swim school in North Canton has been a positive encouraging experience for my 5 year old daughter. Amelia loves Gold Fish! We were taking her to the Y in our area but I needed to be in the pool with her and she just wasn't growing with me there and with how they taught the class. She loves Miss Addy and does so well in her class! Miss Addy is wonderful and makes class so fun! Everyone has been very nice and helpful. I'm so excited to see how Amelia grows in her swimming at Gold Fish!

We love goldfish swim school. First off we do drive a little ways, however the atmosphere here is wonderful. The employees are great which allows the children to connect with them while feeling safe learning an important life skill.

I was skeptical that Goldfish would be drastically different than other swim lessons but it quickly became obvious I was wrong. My daughter went from screaming at the mere mention of swim class to getting ready and running out the door. She started in the Jr. 1 class and within a short time she gained confidence and safety around the water. Now she can easily swim half the length of the pool and the full width. I can confidently take her around water without feeling like she has to be touching me at all times and she knows without a doubt not to be in the water alone.

I am very impressed. My kids have come so far in just 6 months! Scheduling has worked out as well, especially with 2 kids in 2 different classes... Goldfish Swim School has been a great experience!

Our family has had the best experiences with Goldfish Swim School. We love the small class sizes and focused lessons that our children receive. The employees have been nothing but kind and helpful. We wish they had been around when our older kids were young.

My 19-month-old gets so excited every time that we walk in the doors at Goldfish Swim School. He loves getting to play while we swim and enjoys the warm water. He has learned how to climb on things at home due to learning fin, fin, belly, flipper, flipper to get out of the pool. Having the parents join in the swim class is also great bonding time and helps us learn how to encourage him to swim in our pool at home. He is now kicking his legs and pulling his arms on his own. We see him grow stronger in swimming and his confidence in the water with every class. Every instructor has been great and he loves the songs that go with each activity. Thank you for all you do to make swimming fun for babies, toddlers, and kids!

The instructors are all great with the kiddos but the two we've had that's stood out is Miss Patience and Miss Addy. My oldest son, who has Miss Patience, feels so safe with her because she "helped him be brave" and learn rollovers. She has just figured out what works well with him and communicatesso effectively with him. Miss Addy is so good with my youngest son. He said, "she's always good to me" and his brother noted, "I saw, she really is good with him!" Everyone who has ever been with the boys in place of their regularly scheduled instructor is also good and works to meet the kids needs. I love the feedback and the way they build on skills, making it very specific to the child.
