We are extremely disappointed and annoyed. We waited an hour to get into the pool cuz they didn’t have like enough lifeguards for the capacity, only to find out the heater was broken so the water was freezing and there was no inflatables for the lazy river??? Because kids deflated them? How hard is it to reinflate them, or to tell people these things before they waste an hour waiting. They said “there was a sign on the door about the heater” but there’s also 18 other signs on the door. Not hard to mention it to people too.

So we had our things stolen out of a locker and when we told the people at the front desk they informed us that there was absolutely nothing they could do…. So my wife called the police with their office phones my wife’s phone, my shoes, and our car keys were stolen. My wife used the office phone to call her phone and went back into the locker room in hopes of hearing it (she did not).. She also went through every locker in there that she could in hopes of finding our belongings again no such luck. She asked the janitorial staff as well they were ALSO of no help and frankly extremely rude. She then went back into the pool area to inform people to please be on the lookout for the missing items and that the police were on their way. While she waited for the police I went back to get dressed and magically our items reappeared. So as far as a place to take your kids to swim and have fun yeah I’d recommend it but your things will definitely get stolen and they will not help you whatsoever so always bring a lock or never let your belongings out of your sight.

Awesome place! Took my granddaughter & she had so much fun in the kiddie pool, lazy river, pool with basketball hoop & 2 water slides. Girl checking us in was so nice, as were the lifeguards.

The lap pool was cold, the lazy river needed to be drained and repainted, you literally swim with paint chips. The kiddy pool was alright except the splash guns didn't reach anyone. Also didn't open up until their swimming lessons were done. Even tho there were no guards watching the kiddy pool. All in all the kids had fun which is why I gave it 4 starz

Go there all the time. They have an indoor track and many other things to do. The gym is well kept and the equipment is very nice. I also enjoy the staff and the atmosphere!

Price is great. Sufficient weight room. Hard to find a class to take. We go for the indoor walking track but they keep it so cold in there you might as well walk outside. I guess at least you're not dealing with rain, snow, and ice?!

First visit for a baby shower. So clean, and the staff was outstanding. I took a few minutes to watch the courts and everyone was enjoying their families and friends all while getting their exercise. Great job Massillon Recreation!

This I was my first time at this facility. I brought my Grandson and we both had so much fun. The swimming area was very clean and well maintained. Lifeguards were exceptionally Friendly and very good at upholding the rules and keeping everyone safe. We will definitely be returning. Thank You!

Such a great place to take my kid on a cold snowy day when he wants to go swimming. And the price is just right considering he's 2 and were only there a couple hours. It's fun for adults too. I went to an over night event here in high school forever ago and it was the perfect venue. Lots of fun for all ages.
