Master Chang's Martial Arts Preston Corners

My son has been going to Master D- Kim and Master Brandon since he was 3 years old. We have seen alot of progress in his attention span. He has learn to value the teachings and respect his masters which is very important to us. We believe if the teaching is fun and playful kids are more likely to learn and want to learn and want to continue to learn. That has been the case with my son. It has been seemingly easy for us to commit to his black belt program because of Master D-Kim and Master Brandon. We hope they will continue to provide such environment in future, our best wishes to them.

I cannot say enough good things about Master Chang’s Preston location and the fantastic team of people that make it such a special place.Master D-Kim, Master Seo and Amanda have created a positive, engaging and fun atmosphere for kids and adults of all ages, that is wonderfully diverse and inclusive, where you feel welcomed from day 1.Master D-Kim and Master Seo are both amazing teachers who go out of their way to provide individual encouragement and support to each student, promoting self-confidence, leadership and self-awareness. Like I said, I could go on and on but that would make this a really long review, so I will end with this: if you have the opportunity to stop in at MCMA Preston, you’ll find a welcoming community that feels like family.

Our daughter (5) recently started training at Master Chang’s and absolutely loves it! It is increasing her confidence and self-discipline; she loves the instructors. The staff is very family oriented and are amazing with the kids.

Master Chang’s has been a great place for our daughter Alley to not only learn Taekwondo but confidence, preserverance, and other good character traits.The staff and instructors give their all to the students here and it shows. This has been a great experience for us and couldn’t recommend it enough!

I just moved to the area and could not be happier with this program. My two sons love attending multiple times a week. Master D Kim and Master Soh are so connected to the students and genuinely enjoy witnessing their growth. This program doesn’t just teach kids how to fight, they instill values such as compassion, confidence, discipline and respect. I am witnessing my children develop character that is grounded a sense of connectedness to self and other. I want to also mention I attendthese classes multiple times a week and whole heartedly appreciate Amanda for her hard work and dedication to the parents, kids and promoting this amazing program out to the community. We really appreciate this program and how it supports the growth and development of our boys.

What we do here; develop mastery of martial arts, strengthen body and mind and learn respect and control for success.

My Children have been students for years. We’ve been so impressed with the emphasis on teaching and mentorship. What really got me however was my Sons first week in Kindergarten. He was really missing his old friends and having some adjustment issues. He went to TKW and got promoted to the black uniform and it turned his entire week around! His peers, student leaders and his Master showed him the kind of acceptance and support that even though he already had was very difficult to demonstrate. Thank you Master D Kim and the leadership team. You’re the best in the Triangle!!

We invited over 20 kids to my son’s 8th birthday party at Master Chang's Martial Arts studio. I was very impressed, how affordable the event was and how well organized. The instructor was teaching taekwondo in a structured, but also super fun and welcoming way, making all kids have a blast. Every kid had a chance to break a wooden board in front of the parent and birthday boy proudly cut his cake with a real sword. My elder son loved the party so much that he signed up for regular classes, where he learns not only martial arts skills, but also discipline, respect, kindness... and more. I would truly recommend this place to everyone.
