Coaches and facility have always been great for the ~3 years we’ve been going—no complaints there. But recently, the gym has adopted a sales practice of auto-enrolling inactive students when new sessions begin and charging the card on file without authorization. This happened three times since the summer (we took a hiatus for a handful of months and used a withdrawal form). A voicemail is then left to let us know one of our students has missed his/her first class, which is always a surprise that requires budget adjustments. I gather this is the way they now confirm a forced sale? At no other time have they called to inquire about an absence or proactively offer makeup options.

5 Stars for the coaches, 0 Stars for management. Can't say enough glowing things about coach Michael and Coach Kayla. Understanding, great with kids ect.Management ruined this gym for us and I would never recommend this gym because of it.My daughter gets faint when wearing a mask and requires a medical exemption. She had been invited onto the competition team around the mask mandate time for kids over 10. She was 5 or 6, but they were having their athletes mask during warm ups of all ages. Before we committed to the team, I verified with Kayla that her mask exemption would be accepted and wouldn't be a problem. She assured me it wouldn't be a problem.Only a few weeks later I get a call from a manager I had never met. I think her name was Lisa. She had pulled my daughter out of class and was pressuring her to wear a mask in front of her teammates without me being there.I explained her exemption but she wouldn't have it and told me I was given wrong information. When I told her my daughter gets faint when masking she said, and I quote, " I would rather have a child faint in class then have one die of Covid."So, no problem risking my daughter's health and safety by fainting while doing gymnastics, because if she doesn't mask up a child will die because of her?At the end of the call she said my daughter would be allowed to participate if she wore a mask under her nose for warm up, and under her chin for workout. So to sum up:No mask: daughter is a murdererMask not over nose or mouth, strapped on chin: daughter is safe to others. This conversation also included her gaslighting me and telling me it didn't make sense that my daughter would get faint in a mask and stating untruths that they would get shut down by the health department because of my daughter not wearing one. Not only did the health order at the time allow medical exemptions, it also only applied to 10 and above. After the way she treated me and my daughter we weren't comfortable attending. Particularly because it seemed to be over political theater instead of any safety procedures that make even a little logical sense. My friend has also had difficulties with that manager in being misleading about her daughter's advancement, and holding her daughter back even when performing better than her peers that were moved up instead.

Very difficult to get a hold of anyone I’ve the phone all they want is for ppl to leave voice mails. Forget about finding an email for communication. This facility don’t even abide by their own rules. If you wish to withdraw your child you “must” fill a form ahead of time so you aren’t charged. I did so on the same they of the new session cause I knew we weren’t returning for next session. Sessions ends and we are still being charged when the “withdrawal form” was filled and immediately turned in at the time of signing up. This place only has one thing in mind, “money”. Customer service is horrible!

Two kids here for a couple years. We LOVE it! Great gym, great coaches, can come just for fun and progress to competition level if you like. I like that it's truly gymnastics focused, and not a pre-cheer or tumbling gym.

Active Athletics has been a great gym. Their coaches are fun and coach so much better than the last gym I've been in. I have mastered so many skills thanks to my awesome coach. Open gym is a great opportunity to practice skills and have some free time. Active athletics rocks!

Great first real gymnastics experience for our three year old. Her coach, Thalia, is great with kids and her warm, comforting approach gets our child to advance through new gymnastics skills all the time. They are very flexible with scheduling make up classes within a session.

My daughter has been going to Active for 7 years. She has grown up in the gym and has had many of the coaches from recreational to competitive team. All of whom have guided her not only in gymnastics but in important life lessons. We both feel Active is like family to us . She is having a successful gymnastics career. I couldn't imagine her finishing her career anywhere else! Highly recommend Active Athletics!

My 5 year old loves her class with Coach Michael. He works so wonderful with each of them. So fun for her to attend and us to watch.
