Good exercise machines and free weights. The exercise facilities are hardly crowded. Sometimes it's hard to get a lane for swimming. Everything is in great shape.

Clean facility with friendly staff. We were there for a volleyball tournament and the gyms were nice with more seating than we usually see at YMCA facilities.

I love the center ! Great pool area and hot tub but the front desk staff are the rudest people!!! Terrible customer service ! They act like they are totally put out just doing their job ! Can't they find some smiling , pleasant people for that job ?

I had a facial today. Karen was so good. She listened to my concerns and needs. I have very sensitive skin due to auto immune conditions and she was able to gently care for my skin. I will be returning again soon!

I've been going here ever since I was 9 years old, and if there had been something done about this long ago, there would be 5 stars on this review, but I feel that a 1-star review is the only way to get the attention that needs to be brought to the matter of a very disrespectful, deceitful, and insultingly ignorant front desk lady named Gigi. She consistently displays an attitude that is inexcusably infectious and demeaning, especially toward teenagers, and I, for one, have had enough of it.I was willing to let it go on other visits, but the previous one was the straw that broke the camel's back, because despite knowing that our friend was a resident and that we were in a group with her, Gigi refused to give us the rightful discount until our resident friend was directly in front of the counter, which was pointless, because some of us had already paid. (Keep in-mind, she knew our resident friend was with us, but she still didn't give us the discount.) After the fact, she refused to refund those who were forced to pay full price. Then, she had the audacity to say "You may be in school, but you still have learning to do", referring to our ill-knowledge of the resident discount policy. I talked to some of the floor staff immediately after this exchange happened, to confirm the regularity of this kind of behavior, and they enlightened me with all kinds of stories about altercations they've observed between Gigi and other customers, as well as fellow employees. (That's just their word, but I figured it was worth mentioning.) Even my mom had a run-in with her a few years ago, where she asked about getting a club form and was met with a snide response for virtually no reason.I can understand an employee not wanting to engage too much with customers, but I draw the line at being insulted and disrespected. Its clear through some of these reviews (some of which date back months, even years) that there is not enough being done about this. I dont expect a Google Review to have very much groundbreaking influence, but it's clear that I'm not alone on this matter. I know first-hand that there are plenty of hard-working, kind, generous people working at Buck, but sadly, their efforts are being muddled by the first person people see when they enter the building: an ill-mannered, disrespectful, impolite employee who has a very low regard for baseline respect of us patrons, let-alone customer service. I want to keep coming here regularly because I enjoy Buck's facilities, activities, and most of its staff, but to get to where I want to go, I have to go through the front desk, and when Im forced to do business with this lady, I feel like I'm just supporting her inexcusable behavior.

If nothing is done about this, I will take action. My sister and I went to swim and work out at Buck and we have never been treated with such disrespect in the many, MANY years I have been doing there. We walk in and we are greeted by a woman with longer grey hair, glasses and a green hoodie, as we are greeted, she has the most horrendous attitude towards us. She tells us we have less than an hour to swim, we say okay and try to hand her our card. She is refusing to take our card by saying “it’s a waste of money, I wouldn’t pay so much for less than an hour” etc. After paying, she is still extremely rude, telling us “you need to leave 5 to 6” my sister and I didn’t understand so we asked when to leave and she told us the same thing. We said okay. After getting out of the pool, we noticed people were still swimming closer to 5:30. So we decided to work out. My sister was in flip flops and I was in short workout shorts cover with a towel. Which yes, we should have been wearing better work out clothing. But the woman came over and touched my sister (who is autistic and does not do well with being touched) and told her she needed better shoes. My sister did not understand. The woman then told me I need better work out clothing, continuing to repeat herself in the most inappropriate tone. We understood the first time as we were preparing to leave. She continued to harass us about what we were wearing AFTER we said okay. After getting into the car, my sister, again who is autistic. When into a full breakdown due to the fact the woman touched her without permission. I have never been so disrespected and treated so badly in my life, nor has my sister. I fully believe it is because we are 17. I am appalled by her actions and want something done about it.
