I don't live in Denver but I have been so impressed on the quality of virtual classes and the ability of instructors to provide corrections even though I am not physically present. Edge is a great challenge and I also enjoy Pilates Mat, Yoga and Mediation. It is great that such a variety is offered for those who do not live in the Denver area. I would highly recommend checking out any of their classes!

I can't say enough good things about Jessica and everyone at The Ground. Jess is extremely knowledgable, encouraging, caring and she gives the perfect visualizations and cues which makes it easy for me to follow along. I mean this when I say this; They are the BEST Pilates/Yoga studio in the area. Not only is she a phenomenal practitioner, she is a phenomenal person and I am more grateful to her that she will ever know. THANK YOU Jess!

Can't say enough good things about The Ground. My Pilates journey started from square one, knowing very little about Pilates, but heard it can do wonders. I started working with Jess after having uterine surgery. All I knew was that I needed to strengthen my pelvic floor. Jess is sooo knowledgeable and professional in everything she does. I love how she's a natural teacher... smart, fun and engaging. I'm an mechanical engineer, so I have a baseline knowledge of the science between moving parts. Jess truly understands the 'mechanics' of the body, and understands how to formulate a strengthening plan that works for your unique body structure. She is truly legit and knows her stuff. I feel so confident with my progress and I love the changes I'm seeing/feeling in my body. It feels like I'm getting physical therapy due to the knowledge and care that goes into my Pilates regimen. They have a beautiful studio that is very warm and welcoming. I highly suggest you seek out The Ground for your Pilates needs.

Highly recommend The Ground in Denver for all of your Pilates and wellness needs! I have known Jessica Taylor, founder of The Ground, for several years, and her knowledge/expertise of the body and passion for teaching makes her an incredible Pilates instructor. I have been lucky enough to train under Jess (I have danced for her and completed her Pilates Mat Certification program) and truly value the mentorship I've received. Jess will give you tough love when it's necessary, with an eye for detail, an emphasis on quality of movement, and always with compassion + humor. Jess has helped me connect on a deeper level with my body, has brought many moments of humility (and laughter!) to my practice, and has helped boost my confidence. If you are looking for an intimate studio environment, where you will get individual attention from every single instructor, tap into your breath, and strengthen your body through a safe practice - The Ground is for you!

Jess is a phenomenal instructor with a wealth of knowledge that goes well beyond Pilates. She brings her experience as a massage therapist into the one-on-one sessions and is so thoughtful while accommodating my needs. I started with Jess as an investment in my health by building strength and improving flexibility post babies. Since I have been working with her (only 10 sessions so far) I feel like a new person, I feel so solid and strong and no longer get headaches because I’m no longer depending on my big survival muscles (which caused neck tension). Try Jess out, I’m so happy I did!!!!

Now that I am retired, I did not want to sit around with my aches and pains. I wanted to get out walking and hiking again. My Pilates classes were the perfect way to strengthen my core and get me moving again. Building that strength has substantially reduced my sciatica and lower back pain. Knees were bone-on-bone, but Diana helped me strengthen enough to be a (per the surgeon) "rock star" with my recovery of 2 total knee replacements within a year. I feel as if I am in my 30s again and am so happy to be out and about with hardly any pain! It is NEVER too late to start Pilates. Do yourself a favor.
