Provided a wonderful supportive and encouraging environment for our daughter as she took her first gymnastics classes. They knew how to make the class match her developmental level.

I am currently a coach at Hayasaki Gymnastics Center and have been for the last 4 years. The environment at the gym is fantastic, not only for me and my fellow coaches but for the kids as well. Yoshi Hayasaki, the former University of Illinois Men's Head coach, is such a caring and influential boss whose knowledge of gymnastics and coaching is unsurpassed. I truly go into work every day looking forward to my job, connecting with the kids, and teaching the sport of gymnastics. The class sizes are very small and often will have 2 coaches at the same time, which helps ensure that every gymnasts gets a much more structured and individualized education plan. The culture of fundamentals and becoming a good person inside and outside of the gym and the fun that we have makes me proud of where I work and what I do. I can't say enough good things about my boss and this gym as a whole.

I'm more than pleased with the staff under gymnastics great Yoshi Hayasaki. If you want your children to flourish, have fun, and train well, HGC is a great place to go ... they somehow combine a rigorous workout with having fun and projecting a sense of being laid-back. The coaches are kind and thorough. If you have a little one, make sure to see Coach Amy ... she's super-mega-awesome, to quote my toddler.

We have been going to the Hayasaki Gymnastics Center for several years. My daughter is now a Level 8. She has developed a strong technique under Coach Yoshi and his team. She's enjoyed competitive success along with her teammates. Perhaps even more importantly, she continues to love the sport. As a mom, I couldn't be happier with the gym. The coaches truly care about the gymnasts. They practice safety and emphasize correct technique. They create an environment that is uplifting, emotionally healthy, and affirming.
