So glad I found O2 Fitness JI! Knowledgeable trainers, helpful staff, and the space is always clean and has everything I need to get through my workout. The classes are great too, with an incredible staff of group fitness instructors. All around a great place to be a member!

The expansion looks amazing! So much more turf space, and the new weight racks and deadlifting platforms are top notch. Adding more free weights allow for more creative workout ideas with the space too! Great place to get any kind of workout in!

A place where employees have taken the time to know me! Very friendly and accessible. They've expanded the space with new equipment and lots of room to spread out and workout. An excellent atmosphere for a personal exercise routine or to work out with a personal trainer! All are happy to answer questions about machines, routines or classes. There is even a physical therapist on site!!

Good equipment friendly staff! They are currently expanding the space with Olympic platforms, turf, etc, and I am very excited for it to finish! Definitely top notch gym for good gains! Also their classes are great too! I take the Body Balance class and it helps me so much with my mobility and flexibility!

I have been working with Paige as my trainer for several months now and she has been fantastic!! She has helped me get the most out of my workouts by making sure I’m using the right form and by pushing me to do more than I think I can. I have definitely gotten a lot stronger since working with Paige and I am excited to continue working with her!!

A great gym with lots of equipment, lots of space and very friendly staff. My experience training with Paige has been fantastic - she’s super knowledgeable and accommodating, and her workouts make progress easy to see from week to week. Couldn’t recommend O2 and Paige more!

I have been a member for more than one year. First, the gym is well-appointed with a variety of fitness equipment (free weights, weight-machines, aerobic machines) and fitness classes.Second, I spend most of my time with my personal trainer, Leanne Bryant. She is always upbeat and well-organized, with a daily plan that is designed for my goals and limitations. Further, she has always been observant of my form faults, and my tendency to try to lift more, rather than better. Her discipline and demeaner sets her apart from trainers I have had in other gyms around the country. Finally, she is a joy to converse with, especially if you enjoy soccer, as she was a soccer player both in her home country (England) and here in the U.S.Finally, the staff at the gym has always been helpful and pleasant (especially when I consistently misplace my gym pass), and the equipment, locker rooms, and showers have always been clean.

O2 is a great gym! Always super clean, never too busy, and they offer great classes. Very much a team environment which I appreciate!I have also done a few personal training sessions with Nic. He's an awesome trainer and definitely knows what he's doing. He adapts the sessions to any personal requests you may have and I really like that he explains the meaning behind each part of the workout.Overall would definitely recommend O2 (and Nic!) to anyone looking to start or continue their fitness journey on James Island!

If you are looking for a place that offers excellent amenities and ample space to get in a good workout O2 fitness is your place. If you are wanting to take your training to the next level then you need to book a session with Paige. Her knowledge and patience is second to none. She listens to what your goals are and then strategically designs a work out program to achieve your goals. Like most people who are just starting their fitness journey I was anxious about going to the gym and I didn’t even know what I should be doing. Just do yourself a favor and book a training package with Paige. That will be your greatest chance for success especially for someone who doesn’t have a fitness routine but wants to develop one.
