Anytime Fitness

I am sort of being generous... been to this one a few times. Because of my travel, I go to AF all over Charlotte and beyond. Tonight at 7:30, this place was a mess. Trash cans full, was almost 80 in there. Granted 90s out, but hard to work out near 80. The computer closet was open. Don't think they want that! Many machines taped or in need. Will probably go to others in the area next time. Hopefully some constructive crisitism will be heard.

I set up a tour appointment and confirmed my appointment by message. I stayed outside for about 10 minutes. No staff was inside. They do not care about customers at all.

As other users have noted, no one seems to be paying attention when you schedule your visit. So effectively impossible to join the gym. A good way to waste your time.

DeRon Watson is an excellent trainer. Very encouraging and supportive of all levels. As a senior with a serious ortho problem, he is patient and flexible.

This place is pretty quaint, but has everything you need to get a workout in. I've been to other anytime fitness locations that have less equipment, but this one has all you need and more. Very clean, machines are maintained, and you can find paper towels and spray to wipe down after you're done. It doesn't get too crowded and everyone seems to keep to themselves for the most part. I highly recommend this place, especially because it's 24 hours

I set up an appointment online to check out the location and apply for a membership. The day of my appointment. I got a text confirm my appointment. I show up to the location and stand outside for 20 minutes to take my tour. I waited ust to be told the only staff member went to get a haircut. Apparently the office manager had left early for the day and told no one about appointments for new members. This happened at the location in mint Hill as well. If you are a person with a busy schedule, look elsewhere to sign up. This is the second time I've had to wait and get nowhere.The really bad thing is the only way I found out that the only staff member went to get a haircut and that the manager left was because a gym patron happened to have that staff members number. It's pretty embarrassing that the gym patrons themselves are more helpful than the gym staff.

This is a great and well managed 24 hour gym. They do a great job keeping things clean and well maintained. What is most impressive is how welcoming, friendly, and helpful the staff is. Brynn particularly has been so great at assessing my health and fitness goals. She is very knowledgeable and so helpful in evaluating my fitness and helping me get a plan to make progress. Everyone is down to earth and very friendly. They have a really good free weight area and power racks as well as a good selection of machine weights and cardio options. Good place, good people, and I highly recommend.

I joined this fitness center in January 2018. I appreciate the various exercise machines that allow an old person such as I with little previous gym experience to work out effectively.The trainers have helped throughout the years to demonstrate more efficient methods, when I've asked.Staff and members are friendly, adding to the experience.In the interest of transparency, I help clean and straighten the facility a few hours per week. But the members continue to be great about cleaning equipment after use.

Highly recommend this gym. The owners are super personable and great to work with! They're attentive to their members needs and do a great job knowing the members.The gym has lots of equipment and is well maintained. It is always really clean and plenty of cleaning supplies compared to the location in Cotswold. They also provide hand towels for all the members.

I highly recommend this Anytime Fitness location to anybody looking to join a fantastic gym and community! The owner Kim is very kind, she made me feel very welcome. She is also very knowledgeable of the current pandemic and how to keep us gym-goers practicing safe measures to protect others as well as ourselves! The location itself has amazing equipment, it all feels so new and clean. This Anytime Fitness is one of the best I've ever been to by far
