I was an athlete for heavy metal barbell club with 24/7 access to the gym which was amazing. You can train at your own time or during the coached hours if you want feedback on your lifts. I’ve been a remote athlete since January 2023 and have had great success with the programming. I am currently active duty military and enjoy the flexibility and consistency the program offers. Even though I have been in multiple locations/gyms, the gym programming has still been able to accommodate for my training no matter where I was. The program comes to my app every week, making it easy to plan my days around various other physical activities I am involved in. The app shows demonstration videos for technique and I’ve had access to coaches through chat whenever I had questions. The program takes you step by step through movement and rep schemes and the app keeps track of my numbers and PRs.I really enjoy the ease of use for my remote programming. I highly recommend Heavy Metal Barbell Club for anyone looking to improve as an Olympic weightlifter.

I dropped in for open gym a few days while in town. It was straightforward to set everything up online. I had a few questions that were answered by Sean quickly. The gym is exactly what I was looking for, with plenty of room and equipment available. Sean came over and introduced himself, and made sure I had everything I needed. Everyone was friendly, and the place had a good vibe.

This gym is filled with experienced coaches and weightlifters but welcomes learners too. Newbies should meet a coach here and get started. I'm more confident, stronger and healthier since joining.

I can't say enough positive things about Charlotte Strength. After taking Barbell Basics last year, I dove into the Heavy Metal Barbell program. It's been challenging to say the least. I feel totally supported by the knowledgeable and professional coaches. I get helpful feedback on technique in a positive way. We just had the opportunity to discuss and refine goals for the year and as a result I have tough but manageable goals for this year. The other members are super supportive. It's a great community to be part of. You'll feel welcomed when you give it a try.

I've been going to CLT Strength almost everyday since November. Great community, great gym, lots of different classes for different skill levels and very scalable work outs, great coaches. 5/5

I’m pretty new on my weightlifting journey, and finding a real gym and coaching was very intimidating. Referred by a friend who took the barbell basics course offered by Charlotte Strength, I dove in and did the same. While learning the basics of safe barbell lifting, I got hooked by the Olympic movements and the technical prowess and sheer strength of the folks who call this gym home. The coaches are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and the gym has an energy you have to experience to understand. Not for the faint of heart but wide open for the new and willing, this place is a hidden gem for those who are on a true weightlifting journey and determined to get the most out of their effort and training.

I joined Charlotte Strength a few months back. The facilities, coaching, programming, and other friendliness of other members of the gym have fully exceeded my expectations. The team of coaches at CSC are extremely knowledgeable and great motivators to help members achieve their training goals. If you’re interested in improving your strength, conditioning, and technique under the guidance of knowledgeable and caring coaches, CSC is the best gym I’ve come across to achieve these goals!

Love this gym! The Class offering, the coaches, the community feel and the equipment are top notch. Check out the Noda Fit program or Barbell Basics if you want to get into lifting or just need a refresh on form and movement.

Very knowledgeable staff able to break down dissect and teach difficult movements. They are 100% experts, so if you want to really learn how to do Oly lifts properly this is the place to go. The women here are especially lifted here and strong which makes me feel safe going there as a woman. Courtney is an incredible coach and Im so honored to have been able to train with her. Thanks everyone at Charlotte Strength for helping me add more tools to my toolbelt.
