Great family environment! We've learned so many valuable techniques! Wonderful, non-threatening environment for adults and children! So glad we made the decision to join!

They were very friendly and opened at the introduction. When discussing the sign up, we specifically stated that we didn't know if our son would like to stick to it on the long term and that we just wanted to give it a try. They answered with a very vague "We'll work with him if he don'ts feel like to continue". In our naive minds we thought this was straight forward talking. Months later my son and I (yes, I hated going there) decided to stop and the answer when we requested to cancel the membership is that it is a year contract. When confronted about our first conversation then they simply denied it saying "I didn't say you could sign out at any point". In conclusion, we are paying a monthly payment for a class my son is not taking because he doesn't enjoy at all (maybe it works for other kids, but not mine). On the positive side, the teachers are nice. On the negative side, the place is very run down and dirty (I dreaded having to take him to class, and thorougly washed his feet afterwards) , and it seems like they use the yearly contract to keep you hooked. To me this sounds very fishy.

I enjoy being a student as well as a parent of students of this school. I find it very rewarding to train along side my children at a school we all feel teaches life skills and self defense on a personal level. Great school!
