I have been taking classes at Bar Method South Loop for over 2 years. The benefits I have seen are increased flexibility & strength, muscle definition and better posture. It is a whole body workout! The instructors give great attention to form and provide adjustments to maximize the benefits of every exercise. The classes are for all ages and there are modifications if you have current or past injuries. I believe it is a workout that I can do forever and keep my body young. The owner/instructor Julie has a beautiful studio and it is truly a mental retreat from the rest of your day.

Been going to Bar Method SL since January and it’s been a welcome addition to my workout routine. My push-ups have gotten way more impressive since starting Bar. All the instructors are really passionate and amazing. Julie, the owner, has an eye for detail - she’ll give corrections in class for form with ease, and she’ll also help you work out what class package to get behind the scenes. Christa, Dana, Melissa, Karen, Liesl, all are awesome teachers. These are only the ones I’ve taken classes with but you can’t miss here. Bar Method South Loop is a really special place.

I started going to the Bar Method South Loop before CoVid. Due to a knee injury it was difficult to do certain high impact workouts and so decided to gave this a go. The instructors have helped me through knee pain and adjusted movements in a way that has helped strengthen my joints. They are amazing at what they do but also friendly and approachable. There’s definitely a community feel and you get to know people. Great workout, great people and just fun.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time! The Bar Method is a fantastic workout and Julie is an amazing instructor and businesswoman. She navigated COVID seamlessly and managed to provide safe in-person options as well as effective online workouts. In a world filled with too many faceless corporations and big box chains it is so refreshing to work with such an organized locally owned business.

Julie & the team at The Bar Method South Loop are so knowledgeable, friendly, and make working out FUN. Plus, the results are real! I was active in high school, but struggled to find a motivating work out after college, the bar method changed that! I look forward to each class & the positive changes I see in my physical and mental health.

Best workout for mind, body & soul. Great for all ages, body types and ability levels. Workouts can be modified for individual needs. I have back problems, do modifications & still get a great strength building workout. I’ve gain strength, endurance, flexibility & balance. Instructors are great! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should!

I can't say enough about this studio , the owner Julie, the instructors and everyone that works in the front to the playroom in the back. They are truly like a second family.I've met so many amazing people here and can truly call them my "friend" . Bar babes for life. Luv this studio and can't get enough of all these classes: Bar Method, Bar Move, Bar Advanced, Bar Restore and so many core exercises. I've been at this studio since 2017 . I'm being challenge daily and getting stronger and more flexible by the day. I have reached my 500 plus classes and can't wait to feel the burn and see what else is in store for 2020. Come check this studio out, you won't be disappointed. I promise!!! Another reason because there's always a "BINGO" challenge to get you motivated and into the studio. Last year's pic of the Bingo challenge and "YES" all squares are filled..come and join in the fun. This one is for you Christine and fight on!!!

I found my dream workout at The Bar Method South Loop! Amazing teachers, staff, choreography, studio and music where I leave every class with incredible burn that targets all the right muscles. Plenty of class times to fit with my schedule, and I love the variety of classes offered as well. Thanks for keeping me on my workout game Bar Method South Loop!

I hated working out until I started the Bar Method. Was hooked after my first class. Love the modifications and how knowledgeable the instructors are. This really can work for all body types and levels of flexibility. You feel great and energized after class
