I have been going here since 2017. This is the best total body work out and has completely changed my body, improved my strength and is a great mental escape. I particularly appreciate the focus on form and the precision with which instructors give feedback so you learn to do each exercise in the most effective way. The studio also has crested an amazing community who makes you feel welcome and keeps you motivated!

I’ve been coming to Bar Method South Loop since it’s opening, and this studio just keeps getting better. The owner, Julie, has built such a welcoming community. The instructors are absolutely the best - with their guidance, I am consistently correcting my form and continue being challenged. I’ve done several types of barre classes, and this one is top notch. The detail given to form and safety, along with the continuous addition of new, and more challenging, moves and formats keep me coming back for more and more!!

The best bar class in South Loop. The owner, Julie, and teachers are friendly and nice. The facility is clean. The class is a good balance of sweat and fun. Also a big big big plus is they have a playroom in the back and a sitter (she is amazing also). So moms can come in to get a workout while baby is having fun also!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time! The Bar Method is a fantastic workout and Julie is an amazing instructor and businesswoman. She navigated COVID seamlessly and managed to provide safe in-person options as well as effective online workouts. In a world filled with too many faceless corporations and big box chains it is so refreshing to work with such an organized locally owned business.

Best workout for mind, body & soul. Great for all ages, body types and ability levels. Workouts can be modified for individual needs. I have back problems, do modifications & still get a great strength building workout. I’ve gain strength, endurance, flexibility & balance. Instructors are great! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should!

This studio, instructors and workout resonates with my fitness needs! The Bar Method is helping me strengthen and stretch my muscles all while getting a cardio workout. I'm losing inches and weight! The space is excellent - clean and motivating with just the right amenities. But most importantly, ALL the teachers are amazing! They know their stuff and are encouraging. They also are good at keeping watch of your posture and positioning to make sure you're doing the exercises correctly to maximize your workout time. I highly recommend checking out this studio in the South Loop.

Amazing workout and staff! The instructors really care about your form and are very welcoming! So happy I found my way back to The Bar Method after a few years of trying other workouts-hands down this is the best workout for building strength, flexibility, toning and lean, long muscles.

I am so happy that I found this class and the South Loop studio! The South Loop location is very convenient, with great amenities, and a friendly staff.I recommend The Bar Method to everyone. The movements are really subtle and really intense! The instructors are also extremely kind and call you by your first name. Their priority is to ensure that you are maintaining your alignment to avoid injury, while also challenging yourself to become even stronger.There are several lockers and two showers for your convenience.You will not regret trying a class! I cannot recommend it highly enough!
