It is in a distant location but they are a bit cheap than In Motion. The words part building and equipment is extremely outdated. You can also get a free tour, which was helpful.

They got new owners and it had gotten worse. they cramped the place with and they tried solving it with replacing one of the racquet courts which is stupid because it's to small of a room they also moved some machines outside as well but yeah...it's stupid

New owners and in a renovation so place did look like a construction zone. Wouldn't honor the old NSfit punch cards so that was disappointing. Ended up leaving.

The phone number for the Chico club wasn't working and I noticed the Chico club is no longer on the NSFit website. I contacted another location and they told me that the club was sold at the beginning of the month but they had no contact info for the new owners. I don't know what this means for the fate of the facility. This club is in need of some decent maintenance for sure. I hope the new owners will invest some serious capital in the declining state of things: removing carpet in the locker rooms (gross) and everywhere else, the obvious water damage throughout the building, putting in proper flooring in the group workout spaces instead of cheap laminate plank, and generally bringing it out of the 90s. The potential is definitely there. I will say that the equipment, especially the weight room is the best part of this place for the price compared to other gyms in Chico. I hope the new owners decide to bolt down the power racks and other heavy machines and equipment though.

I’ve only been twice since I just enrolled. What can I say? Qr code makes it easy to sign in and access all of the amenities. I especially enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and upstairs cardio machines. Great space and layout. I think you can bring a friend on Fridays, I’ll look into it. Thanks.

Actively lies about how much the membership will cost and will let you tour under the impression you'll get to try it out before buying, having a sign even saying so out front, but then - $20 for a day pass. Oh, but then it's $10 if you're not quick to being robbed. Yeah, scummy behavior deserves a review, enjoy. Thanks for wasting my time!

Overall value is great. I have been a member of NS Fit for 15+ years — way before it was owned by NS Fit. NSF has definitely been an upgrade over the last owners. It’s great to have a gym with racquetball courts. My biggest complaint is that things don’t get fixed very quickly after they break down/ stop working e.g. the hot tub and workout machines mostly. They seem to be doing a better job in the last couple months so if they keep it up I will upgrade my rating next time around.

I'm mainly a member here because of rehab. From heart . I use the jacuzzi, sauna and lap pool. Nice people and easy access .Ask them for a free 7 day pass to give it a try.

Very friendly environment. Everyone is respectful . As an older person this is important to me. My trainer Jorden is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am learning a lot. The gym is kept clean and the staff wipe down the equipment frequently. Nice place to work out.
