Bad manager

Manager seems like he doesn't want me to workout there. I'm really distraught on my decision. Just a few fitness enthusiasts and a lot of slackers.

There are literally homeless people in the male locker rooms no matter what time of day or week there are people who are using the locker room as their own closets they use up all the benches with clothes that are dirty and no one really has space to change or use the lockers but these hoarders I would post a picture of it but it would be too obvious that I am taking pictures of someone else’s property

I went with my service dog to the location in Chino CA, at the beginning of the reception I had no problems, but soon a person who said he was the general manager named Steven yelled at me and asked me questions about my service dog, everything was going well. Until he asked me for a training test of my dog, obviously I have trained him and it is not necessary to accredit the training or registration as such, out of politeness and with a warning I told him about said test, I showed it to him, he took it and observed it, I I came back and started with the questions, it's uncomfortable because you have to explain the condition, but what they don't ask me for is the certification test, it's the only place I face when I take it. In addition, the signs of service dogs are welcome, they are in a place where they cannot be seen, right on a wall where they are not noticeable, they seem to be the lowercase letters of a misleading contract so that the client does not see them, the manager's training is unfortunate due to his position

front desk is always on their phone, not helpful when in need of support. Machines are not the greatest, really crowded, and not the cleanest. Sauna seems to be down frequently. Also, most of the time the paper towel dispensers will be out.

I paid for one year ($299) with a credit card and it auto-renews the next year, but I'm sure I don't have autopay set up. It's annoying that you have to go find the admin they canceled.

The treadmills felt very cheap and outdated and not kept up properly like they were bought at a yard sale they were also very dirty it looked like someone had just brought them in from outside. The water fountain here was basic water fountain can’t complain to much about that but it would be nice if you could update the fountain where you could fill up your water jug with filtered water just like planet fitness. When I was trying to find a paper towel to clean up after myself from sweating they seemed very limited, low on money idk. they should have more paper towel dispenser available around the gym. I’ve been to a planet fitness before and they have mobile check in’s where they scan your phones QR code but here at 24 hr fitness they want you to scan your finger and type in your phone number it would be nice if they could do the QR code as well. I didn’t get to experience the rest of the club but they did seem to have enough weight equipment available.

Terrible customer service. I activated a free 3 day pass to check out this gym as I'm currently a Golds Gym member looking for a new gym after 10plus years there and needing a change. Gym is appears to be ran by 15 yr old kids sitting at the desk unwilling to help. I was then told that I could not use my pass on a weekend even though it didn't state that on the pass. They said it was "managers discretion "and didn't allow me to work out. They made my decision to switch to 24hr Fitness SUPER easy. It's a hard NO for me. I'll be sure to let others know to pass on this gym as I'm very influential in my community.
