Classes rarely start on time and almost never go the full length. Heated classes are dangerously hot to point you feel sick. Inconsistency in quality of instructors. High instructor turnover. Lack of variety in 6 am classes and best classes are reserved in evening. Yoga is the same no matter who teaches and is not comparable to other studios in area. The kicker: I had a psycho ex friend that would pop up at classes I attended to annoy/stalk me and they were dismissive even after telling them I’ve contacted law enforcement after she followed me from a studio down 71.I believe the response was “sorry this happened but here’s a coupon if you want to return”. No thanks. There are much, much better options for a challenging workout in this city.

DO NOT INPUT YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIS BUSINESS, IT IS NOT SAFE.I recommend if you go here, or have ever purchased classes here that you check your bank statements!!!they can be really sneaky if you don't pay attention!!it breaks my heart to speak negatively of this place because i did truly enjoy the instructors and the classes here but to not be respected- makes the whole experience different. I do not recommend going to classes here unless your husband pays the bills and you have no cares in the world other than to be a hot healthy woman. otherwise for the rest of us- who pay and have to track every dollar spent, they WILL take from you. this is not the first financial issue I've had with body alive. I stopped going 2 years ago to the oakley location. now I will never return!! way to go customer service team 🤙🏼

I have been going to body alive off and on for about 3 years. It is a wonderful place to become motivated to workout and prices are relatively low compared to other studios. They offer many times every day of the week and multiple pricing options for people which is great.(The rest of the review only refers to the yoga sessions)I took off 2 stars because of how white-washed the yoga is at these studios. It is simply a workout to most of the instructors and nothing more. As a matter of fact, they even brought christianity into it recently with a “Yoga For The Soul” session. Which makes me sad because they do not address the culture the practice came from but instead, they replace it with christianity. They have lyrical, pop songs on the whole time which sometimes have depressing lyrics which makes the collective energy in the room go down.My recommendation for this business is to connect the yoga back with the origins and offer sessions which are focussed on the spiritual aspects (not religious) of the practice and not just sweating and please play more instrumental, high frequency music (especially during shavasana).
