I love this place! It's always clean, never too many people except during noon and after work hours (6-7pm) they are busier then usual but that's normal for any gym. Overall, the equipment is always in great shape, machines always work, and staff are nice.

Pretty dope gym. Most of the times that I like to workout are less busy times, which is great. I like to go at 6am or noon and both are pretty low key. Their tanning beds are the best in town. Staff are very helpful and friendly as well. I do wish they had a few more ab machines, a few more free weights in the 10, 15, 20 lbs range, and a pool. I would literally never leave this place. 😎

Gym is always clean and they have a lot of equipment to choose from. However the staff could be a little more friendly. Always seem so upset to be at work. It's not what one does, it's how one does it.

Extremely horrible business and would not recommend this gym to anyone if you want to pay ridiculous amounts of money. I became pregnant and wanted to cancel my subscription because I wouldn't be using it anymore and they said I could not cancel because I had a year membership which is fine and understandable but the staff lady I talked to said that I wouldn't be charged anymore once my year is up. Once my year finished I continued to get charged so I called them back and asked why and they said that I had to come in and cancel or I had to write a letter (because I had moved away months before so I haven't even been able to use this gym at all.) I wrote the letter and I still got charged again for the month. I called them again and they told me that I couldn't send a regular letter it had to be a certified one. Not only did that happen but they also charged me an extra $40 for the annual fee FOR A GYM THAT I DONT EVEN GO TO ANYMORE. I said that I wanted my $40 refunded back to me because I'm not going to pay an annual fee for something that I don't want. I sent the certified letter and they called me and said that in order for me to cancel that I would have to pay $30 which is apparantly past due. I have no idea how there is something past due when I pay every single month even when I don't want to AND they said they couldn't refund me back my $40 so I guess I'll just go ahead and give all my money to something I DONT EVEN USE. I seriously let everyone know who tries to get a subscription from planet fitness that the staff all likes to tell you different stories and they are seriously the worst contract to get out of. Worse than a phone contract. If you don't mind them taking your money even when you don't want them to then you should get a membership here. If not, I would highly recommend finding another gym.

I'm big on Customer service. It took two months to speak to someone about my membership, the Payment website sucks and I still sent get my issue taken care of. For that reason they get a 1star! As for the gym. 3stars

Chris, the General Manager, is likely on his way out the door soon,Sales associate failed to verbally inform me I was signing for $42 annual "club fee" when I initiated the contract in January. Yes, I did sign for it. But, I along with 95% of people in this world rarely read the the legal terms of 10-page contracts. It is good business practice to at minimum inform the customer of the fees! To give you an idea of the lack of training, the sales associates were not confident in the date I could sign up and not be locked into an annual contract. To not have employees trained and knowledgeable on the terms of the contract at the beginning of the year when there are the MOST sign-ups really shows a lack of leadership, training, and more specifically the competence of management and their ability to prepare associates for the most profitable and important time of the year. for the business. I was slightly shocked by the $42 club membership fee as most gyms (like Gold's Gym) don't have this high of annual fee. It's only $42, but I still called the gym to get clarification on the fee and when I can expect another "club fee". I immediately spoke with another sales associate who tried explaining the fee to me but I quickly realized she didn't know what she was talking about as she placed me on hold (without notice) as she received clarification from someone else (likely a manager). When "Chris" answered the phone "Hello, this is Chris" I was immediately taken back by his unprofessionalism and lack of customer service experience. No transitional statement. No explanation why I am talking to a new associate. So, I RE-EXPLAINED to him my situation because I was not sure what had been communicated between him and his sales associate. He told me "I am looking at three signatures by you w\here you signed for it." I said "I understand that Sir, My problem is not with signing for it. I just think you should have sales associates inform the customers of what fees they are paying for." He said " I am 100% sure the sales associate told you" So I said "How are you "100%" sure when you were not there Chris?" He said "Because I know (insert sales associate name) and she would have told you." Essentially calling me a liar. I then said "You weren't there, how can you say with 100% certainty she informed me" He then redirected the conversation rudely and said "I am looking at three signatures where you signed for it. Do you have any other questions?" I was upset at this point. "YES! I would like you to answer the question I JUST ASKED!" At this point I realize this man has no Bachelors in Business Administration, no education in Human Relations, does not understand effective communication, or effective problem solving, and he likely was not raised in a house which taught him respect and manners. I was not really all that upset when I called. I was just seeking clarification and was hoping to help PF rectify their problem (PF lack of training in educating their sales associates to inform customers of ALL the fees they can expect) But, after getting off the phone with Chris I quickly realized there was a deeper underlying problem...POOR MANAGEMENT).Additionally, when I signed up for the black membership I was told half-price on all drinks. Well, when I went to buy a Muscle Milk after signing for the membership I was told "Muscle Milks aren't included in the discount".Also, there is about one or two tanning beds that have bulbs strong enough to tint my pasty white skin in preparation for my friends wedding next month. Many bulbs should have been replaced months ago.You can't use "Judgement free zone" as your slogan to cover for your lack of management experience and capacity to function. I'm judging you Planet Fitness and your operation is dying with better cleaner gyms with more equipment--like the Golds Gym in your area.I will be canceling my membership later today when I go in to the location and have a face to face discussion with Chris.

At first I was a little angry because I didn't really understand the annual fee, and I was charged for it 2 times, however after calling customer service and my bank they refunded my money rather quickly which was impressive. The gym itself is really clean and easy to get around, even while I was pregnant I felt comfortable there, the staff is literally amazing, they are so sweet and any questions ive ever had were answered with ease, even just their personalities are great. Overall a great gym, im going to be sad when I move because there is no planet fitness anywhere near where we are going 😧

I started a membership here when it opened. The Planet Fitness staff were very willing to give me a tour and showed off the great value presented by the gym. For the most part, staff were very helpful and there were plenty of machines available. After I moved out of state to cancel my membership, the staff refused to help me over the phone. They told me that I had to come into the gym. I explained that I lived 10 hours away. They informed me that they are only willing to cancel my membership if I send them a letter using certified mail (at my cost). Alternatively, I can keep paying a monthly fee. It is disappointing that there are so many hoops to jump through to cancel a gym membership. This put a stain on an otherwise good experience.

Great gym, Very good PriceI just started working out and I love this gym! $20/month and that includes all the work out equipment (you can bring 1 guest along to use the equipment only), along with tanning (lay down and stand up beds that are actually very nice), the hydro-massage beds (AMAZING!!), the massage chairs, and body toning machine. They also have refreshments available, and tootsie rolls :) Every time I go they are always very nice, have helped me with whatever I needed. We were also able to switch the member ship to my husbands name, with no hassle.Overall great gym for the price!

I joined planet fitness a week ago and so far have been very impressed. The manager gave me a tour of the facility and he was polite, friendly, and not at all pushy. What impressed me the most is the price of membership which is very reasonable. The facility is awesome. I like to go from machine to machine to keep the variety up and I have found they have so many that I could be there for two hours and not get to all of them. I also like the no intimidation policy, I like that it is an inclusive gym and you are just as likely to see someone in really great shape, and someone like me who has a long way to go. But everyone's friendly and nice to each other. I also like their abdominal area and their circuit area. It really allows you to design a customized program that fits my needs. I also like the showers, really nice how they have two nozzles, one on the side and one overhead, wished I had this set up in my shower at home. I haven't even tried their tanning and massage chairs yet, but I am sure their awesome, and what a great deal to have them included in your membership.
