DATE: 8/10/23I provided Club Pilates - Clearwater with 38 days' notice for cancellation, although they only require a 30-day notice for cancellation.I initiated my membership in February 2023, paying a monthly fee of $199. Initially, I was attending regularly until needed to pause/freeze from June 17th through September 17th due to personal reasons, life happens. Additionally, I was paying the monthly $15 fee during my freeze period for what purpose besides what felt like greediness really, I'm not sure. Despite all this, I'm being charged $199 for a new month, even though I wish to cancel immediately.Charging me nothing with this much notice would demonstrate good customer service. Even charging me half of the monthly fee as a cancellation fee would be more reasonable, but imposing the full $199 fee on August 18th 2023 seems unjust.Apparently, all cancellations require a 30 day notice and must be processed from an active account. So I am "unfreezing" my account immediately, so that I can pay the $199 for a month in which I can take classes, then I can be released.I acknowledge it was definitely my mistake in hastily signing the contract on the iPad handed to me in the studio without thoroughly reading. Felt high pressure though really, you go in for the 30 minute introductory free class, then all the individuals who attended the class sort of congregate up front with all their questions, a couple of IPads flowing around for people to sign up with a staff member, then when they see you're on the cusp of signing up, they throw in an extra week, maybe two, to make up for the time that it takes you to even get into a class rhythm bc they book out that far, then you get a free racerback logo t-shirt. Oh and if wanted to lock in that $199 monthly unlimited rate, I needed to sign up that weekend, that day specifically because their rate was going to increase that week.If Club Pilates let people out of the memberships easy, then I think people would likely be more inclined to return in the future when they are able to.In any case, this has left a very negative impression on me. I hadn't anticipated the need to freeze or cancel my account. However, I would have hoped that the General Manager, Joell, of Club Pilates would have handled this differently. There was one instructor would personally try to avoid when booking my classes, Linda, but I had to take at times because of early AM classes that best suited my work schedule. She would laugh at me (not a with me kind of thing) when I did something incorrectly, and she would show overall frustration with the class if they weren't doing things correctly. Like a condescending laugh or shake of the head. I saw her call out others too, some ladies would turn red in the face, I always felt bad. It was more like scolding than constructive criticism. What happens is we all just look at each other like poor deer in headlights bc we're legitimately confused at what was just rattled off to us whether it be by memory or looking down at that sheet of paper without looking at us. She would say "Look at me, not at each other!"Samantha, Cassidy, Ivette, all great instructors that are no longer on the schedule. There seems to be a lot of turnover and TBD Instructor classes. To conclude, I was not pleased with the practice of taking photos of me while I was exercising. There were instances when an individual other than the instructor would snap pictures of the morning Pilates class. Given the substantial membership fees, it's reasonable to consider hiring models or willing club members for a designated photo shoot.Perhaps your experience with this studio differs or will differ, but I can only relay my own firsthand experience. Scam like policies.

I'm absolutely obsessed! This is my third month and I've thoroughly enjoyed the classes. The instructors are great and caring. I highly recommend it, I'm so much stronger than I was when I started. I can see a drastic improvement in my posture and overall health.

Love Club Pilates. Lots of good instructors, but Sam's classes in particular are simply awesome - I always feel like I get great work done. She manages to always do something new while blending well known routines and keeping the flow going. She puts attention into the details like creating a great soundtrack and making sure to include unwinding/ great stretches in the end and even intention-setting at the end.

First of all when trying to sign up for intro class, I received 3-5 calls a day and these continued even after I signed up. It was very very annoying and it seemed like no one communicated.I tried a month of unlimited and it took me awhile to find the classes and instructors I liked. I went nearly every day. After trying all the instructors and various class types and levels, I only felt challenged 20% of the time. The population that goes here seems to be more beginner exercisers andthey cater to that. Due to this I downgraded for the next month for just 4 classes in hopes of taking a specific class that I like on Saturday. I then find out this class is removed! Now I can't find any classes that are higher level with instructors that I like and that fit with my schedule... I work normal hours and am not the type to workout at 6am. All I wanted was a higher level class in the evening - even one day a week - but there were 0 options. I tried to switch my package to the Largo club in hopes of finding classes that were worthwhile but I was rudely told that I was not allowed to and could not get a refund either. The best instructors are Linda and Taylor but very few of their higher level classes worked for my schedule. If you are looking for a variety of 1.5-2.5 level Pilates classes I would not sign up for this studio. Overall I am very disappointed they couldn't work with me to resolve my dilemma and I wasted so much money.

Honestly, I was hesitant to try it when my cousin who’s a member invited me. The stigma of “gyms & studios” & the judgement that comes with it doesn’t appeal to me. You will NOT get that here! It truly is for everybody and every body. The safety, expertise & variety each instructor, both male & female, brings to their class keeps me from getting bored. YOU make your workout personal to you. I’ve been a member for 4 months during the off SUP season. First time SUP workout last week for over an hour ending with a 1/4 mile throw down sprint challenge from my 18 yo son in a kayak. Happy to report no injuries, regulated Pilates breathing, no residual soreness & toasted my son! I’m sold & addicted as other review mentioned. Join today, you won’t regret it.

Pilates has been a fantastic form of workouts for me and this studio has been outstanding. All of the instructors here provide a variety of workouts that are challenging to every skill level. They are concerned for your safety and provide instruction for proper form and modifications if needed. There is a progression to the different level classes and they assure that you are ready before moving on to the next level. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

This is the first time I've done Pilates, I'm on month 3 almost and I love it. All of the instructors are great and help when you need it. The classes offer new challenges each week, also they have small class sizes (12 max I think). I would say the only down side is they are so busy sometimes the class I want gets full. The prices are reasonable considering how involved the instructors are. This is great for anyone, definitely recommend! #takemymoney lol

Best Pilates studio in the area! the instructors are awesome and make the early morning workouts fun and effective! Always leave feeling the burn. 10/10 recommend! I saw changes after the first few classes and overall it has improved my posture, breathing, and I'm much more toned than when I used to workout 6 days a week running and lifting weights. SO worth it!
