Gracie Clearwater Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness

I joined Gracies Clearwater for the fitness kickboxing in 2020.In the beginning it was good but then it became frustrating.Many times the owners/ coaches would cancel classes at the last minute, or sometimes they would allow another person attending the class to “coach” us.On the coaching- there was rarely any correction of form, and often the instructor was distracted by her phone or adorable small child running around.I’d also have to say the room where the fitness kickboxing was done was not safe or sanitary. The flooring was initially padded mats that were replaced with indoor/outdoor carpeting that was not properly affixed to the ground, thereby making it a very dangerous place to be kickboxing. My friend tore her calf muscle on a kick when she slipped.Buyer beware…I found a great gym since with caring instructors !

I am traveling from Pittsburgh, PA this week and not only did Gracie Clearwater BJJ kindly welcome me into their class...class was AMAZING!!! Instructors are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and gave me one heck of a workout!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place whether you are a beginner, MMA fighter, or any level in-between!! I wish I could give them 6 stars!!!

Great gym for everyone from a beginner with no experience to seasoned MMA fighter. They have tons of classes taught by skilled instructors and a family environment to make you feel at home. Head instructor is a brilliant martial artist & can teach you how to reach your full potential!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here at Gracie Clearwater! Upon considering to join, I spoke with Coach Jeff directly at 8 p.m. on a weeknight as he patiently answered all of my questions before coming in to check out the gym. From the coaches to other students in each class, EVERYONE has amazing attitudes and are more than willing to make you feel comfortable while helping/teaching. This is a special place!

Gracie Clearwater is my home away from home! Not only are the classes a great workout but they are a lot of fun! There are so many different belt levels and experience under one roof. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient and always ready to help no matter what. They will push you at times for sure but in a caring way that allows you to grow, meet your goals and potential. They truly care and love what they do!

The only thing better than living near the beach is living near the beach and world class martial arts training. When I moved to Florida, I knew I had to find high class training and I was willing to travel for it, too. Luckily, I found Jeff Bailey's gym was close to where I live and signing up at Gracie Clearwater is the best decision I've made since arriving in Florida. The coaches are top notch and the team really gets along like family. Now that we have moved into a new 4,000 sq ft location, it can only get better. I can't recommend this gym enough; whether you are just starting your journey in martial arts or you have years of experience, this is the spot to train in Clearwater.

I’ve been going to Gracie Clearwater for more than 2 years now. Gracie is more than just a gym to me. All of the people there are SO amazing and SO supportive! They want you to succeed and get results! I attend the kickboxing class and absolutely love it! You leave class feeling so refreshed! The coaches make the class fun all while getting in a great workout! I would highly recommending coming to class and trying it out! You won’t be disappointed!!💪

Gracie Clearwater is amazing! My kids take classes, one in elementary school and one in high school. They both love it and are learning self defense and confidence while having fun. I've taken the kickboxing class which is awesome...a great workout and so much fun. Professor Jeff Bailey is the best coach and truly cares about each student. It's like a family at Gracie Clearwater. I can't praise it enough!

Gracie Clearwater has world class coaches and an energetic family atmosphere. I do kickboxing and my son takes the kids class. The schedules work for the both of us and we enjoy learning new skills and getting an excellent workout. Coach Jeff Bailey teaches so that anyone from beginner to advance understands. I highly recommend this gym!!
