LA Fitness

Compared to most, this is a good facility and in my opinion one of the better LA Fitness facilities in the area. The pros are that they have a good variety of equipment and all the usual amenities at a good price. I also think most of the people who workout there are good people. Some of the cons are the Jacuzzi and other things like the drinking fountains, sauna, and exercise machines that are consistently broken along with the inconsistency of service by staff. If you are looking to consistently use a Jacuzzi, look elsewhere. I have been a member for a year and the Jacuzzi was out of service 40-50 times over that time period. Additionally, there has been constant turnover especially in the manager position (every 2-3 months). Some of the staff appear kind and hard working (especially the cleaners and maintenance people) while other staff appear disinterested. Management can be inconsistent. For example, there was a recent time when it was difficult to use the turf area because kids were wrestling and nobody provided supervision. I feel sorry for the staff. I'm guessing that the constant breakdowns, unreliable service, and consistent turnover are because of poor leadership from above. I like the facility mostly because of its location. However, I anticipate looking elsewhere in the future-

2.5 ⭐️but I had to round up. Small buildout, machines are stacked making for tight spaces. Wasted a lot of space on a pool, fake lawn for the posers and a spin room that gets used once a day at best. But wait; that’s not the worst. The worst is I had to write this review at a coffee shop because the gym’s Wi-Fi suuuuuuuuuuucks. This unit is generating over $1mm in annual revenue and they can’t provide adequate Wi-Fi? Come on now. You can do better.

Come up with a better idea for incentivizing people to clean up after themselves and make it EASIER. The tiny little worthless wipes won’t help a woman with a 6 lb baby.Also, train your kids who work the front desk to lift up their heads from their phones and say hello when somebody walks in. Crunch DESTROYS y’all in the customer service area. And like homie said elsewhere in the ratings, hold the losers accountable who disrespect OUR gym and kick them out immediately when they act up.

On June 9, I was in the LA Fitness sauna and after the sauna I went to the shower. The cleaner saw me go into the shower and two minutes later opened the curtain and looked into my shower. This is a violation of my rights as a woman.

AWESOME GYM!!The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful .The atmosphere is awesome.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gym.Definitely 5 ⭐️

I have been going to this gym for 5 months and I find it to be a friendly, helpful place to learn about building strength as I get older. I have been there at all different times of the day and every machine I have wanted to use has been available and clean. I have been in the showers, the hot tub and the pool and I am impressed by how clean the entire place really is. I was reluctant at first, but after talking to Angela, I decided to sign up for some training. It was a smart thing for me to do. Chelsea has been wonderful. She listened to me and understood I was there to make this older body stronger without hurting myself. She has taught me about the exercises that are good for me and how to work the somewhat intimidating machines. So now I feel confident on my own using them. I haven't have training with any other of the trainers but from what I hear from other people, they are all on the same level as Chelsea (but she will always be my favorite). I have also been to the senior's class and highly recommend it to anyone that wants to work out in an easy environment with oldies music and fun people. We all just want to be as strong as possible, especially as we get older and I have found this place to be an exceptionally helpful to me. So thank you Angela and Chelsea for making me a healthier, stronger and more confident woman.

It's great for exercise, but don't expect clean showers, let alone employees care. Two days ago I found glass on the shower floor, obviously I reported it and the next day the shower I used was full of fungus and dirt due to lack of cleaning when leaving I asked for the manager And when that person was not there, they asked me to go with an employee (a young man with long hair and ear plugs) to the bathroom to show him the cups covered in fecal matter, even on the floor and the Shower mushrooms. He was very rude and he didn't care.

It's a great place. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are perfect to start the day off right.

I just moved here from up north and my account was all kinds of messed up. Tyson, GM, and Angela, Training Director, made me feel so welcomed and worked through all my account issues with me. They were so communicative and hospitable. Angela set me up with Master trainer Tony and he has been just as amazing! So excited to have such a welcoming new gym! Thanks to the whole LA Fitness Clearwater team for taking such good care of me!

2/6/23, 5:30 am. Spa closed. Typical of LA Fitness/Esporta. They just don’t care.Sauna door does not close, therefore major heat lossShower curtain show signs of MOLD and the shower bases have built up dirt, hair and other things along the wall and corners.Equipment is newer and in good shape.
