This gym used to be nice but now it's basically a hotel for the people who sleep in their cars in the parking lot. At night they go in to use the showers and massage chairs, seems to feel like a homeless shelter instead of a gym.

Very nice and huge selection of equipment. There must be 60+ cardio stations with fitness equipment and free weights. The only exception would be the audio system that doesnt work when you plug in (they have been working on getting a new sound system for 2 years)

Very clean and a HUGE facility. Nick at the front desk was extremely welcoming and since we were black card members from out of state, he even offered to show us around. One of the best planet fitness facilities I’ve been to.

Personally the experience was ok at first 3 stars not bad or good exactly. Then i made the great decision to join the pf classes thats where i really felt welcome the trainer Rich starkey is very welcoming, very friendly and I think he does a amazing job with the classes.

The manager, Nasty, Cameron (he said) is rude and has a terrible customer service approach and attitude! This is the 110th street location and US 19 in Pinellas Park! Instead of reading the book “Raving Fans,” he must have read “I’m in charge and that’s all that matters!”. i asked for the owner and he says you can’t reach them. They’re out of state and noone has their phone number. Nasty, Cameron said seven years ago, my account owed $41.00? I asked for a printout of my account and he said that’s not possible. So for seven years, no one else mentioned this? This belligerent young man says: “Well I’m not letting you in today unless you pay $41.00. It’s not the $41.00! I’ll go back if I can in my bank account and look…BUT THAT PUNK’S ATTITUDE IS GONNA LOSE A LOT OF GOOD CUSTOMERS!!! He said he didn’t care if I posted anything…apparently that won’t make a difference in his mind! So here I am in my favorite Planet Fitness location on 66th Street in St Petersburg! Facility is cleaner! More Equipment! Great staff! (no weird attitude) No drama! No weird accounting problems! They said “I didn’t have a problem and welcomed me in today!”. Maybe he had wrong person…oh well…stay away fromthat dirty busy facility-you have to wait a lot just to get on machines!!! Too small for number of memberships sold in my opinion…enjoy today!

2 stars. Gf was there for tanning purposes. She hadn't been there in a while and was rudely talked to when she was confused about the app and how the new process works. She was also belittle by the same man while he made comments saying it's sad that people come in to tan. When she left after tanning and mind you she was only there to tan. She was hit with comments about her footwear at a gym. She wasn't there to work out or exercise. So in the process of showing up to tan she was rudely talked to because she had the Keychain barcode of previous and not the app and then belittled when she asked about it. Then has to hear people talk about her tanning. Then to make it worse the same guy criticizes her for her footwear. I see why people pay the tanning company's alot of money per month so they don't have to put up with this. I was told the lady working was nice and the bed worked great but the man working was about as rude and mean as someone could be working at planet fitness. She came home very upset. No customer should be talked to or talked about like this. A gym is already a place where people feel insecure at times and to have someone who is verbally offending people who use the services there is a problem not just for customers but should also be a problem for the owner. Why would u want someone who works there to insult people for using the services they paid for. She won't go back to this location anymore.

A great place. One thing that bothers me. Well don't really bother me but I can't help but notice weekend worrier. Or once a month worrier. They come in and sweat all that nasty a$$ Beer!! Gets all over the equipment. Then they do a half as.S job cleaning it off. Not to point but that older lady. Wow she is badd

In the past I have attended Planet fitness at a different location but this time I went with a friend to try the Clearwater location and absolutely loved it. The front counter staff so was friendly and helpful when the website was giving us a hard time. Isabella, Zoey, and Lala all teamed up to help solve the problem and with a great attitude. Give them girls a raise!!! Its not often to find great help.

I attend the Clearwater location and love it! I love the personalized training classes that Rich Starkey the personal trainer puts together. He is sincere and takes a lot of pride in training you how to have the correct form while doing the exercises to prevent injury. His style is gentle and he encourages you to push harder. I highly recommend his classes for anyone who wants to improve the quality of their workouts.

Have been a black member for years and love the gym, but they need to maintain the equipment a little better. Missing pull handles for months now, need lubrication on Smith machines, and triceps push down handles need to be tightened. Just pointing out the obvious. Thank you
