The Little Gym of Montclair

Such an amazing space for children to learn and try new things. In the 5 months we have been going to The Little Gym in Montclair, my daughter has grown and developed confidence in trying new things. She interacts with all the other children and the staff. All of the staff members are wonderful, patient and so accommodating! I 100% recommend TLG Montclair ❤️

My daughter is always being challenged at her classes and learns something new each week. The facility is extremely clean, the classes are organized, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. We could not be happier with The Little Gym of Montclair!!

Horrible experience. Upon reading good reviews we decided to take an introductory class, wasn't too impressed with the activity level. What put me off and alarmed me the most was that they allow unwell kids to the class who were coughing around and spreading germs. That is a big red flag specially in current scenario with different kind of virus spreading all around. All of us got sick post the class. Furthermore, when I sent an email to management there was no reply back. I believe they have too many students already and don't value new enrollment and most importantly the safety of all those to come to class. Do not recommend at all. Very disappointed.

Let me start by saying that the party was very well organised. The staff was very helpful, cordial, polite , patient, accommodating and went above and beyond of what we asked. The playing time was optimized well and the kids enjoyed themselves. The superhero theme was perfectly suited for my 5 year olds Powerpuff girls theme. We had a great time, but I had 2 tiny comments regarding the amount of time reserved for food and cake cutting and the party room space.If the party slot was 2 hours, then everything would have gone more smoothly. Just 30 mins for food and cake makes it a little rushed, especially for parties where we have 20+ kids and 40 adults. 1 hour of play and 1 hour of food would make everything more efficient and we could have maybe mingled with our guests more, gotten a few more pictures before the decor came down etc. And the second issue is related to the space. The room is good enough for the kids, but it becomes a little cramped when there are 20+ kids and accompanying adults. Im not sure what can be done about it, but maybe we can have all adult seating outside and also have more extra chairs to accommodate the adults. Besides that, everything else was awesome. My almost 2 year old son always has such a great time at the Little Gym and is learning so much! Since he doesn't go to daycare, this is a great exposure to other children, structured play, and fun with grandma! He just LOVES Ms. Anna. :)

I loved that I could go online, pick a date and time to reserve a spot and that I didn't have to wait to talk to someone to do this.Communication was professional right from the beginning. I felt reassured every step of the way that everything would be taken care of. They were very organized and kept everything moving along.I liked that the instructors were friendly and that the kids were engaged and had a united purpose. At some parties, it is very chaotic.The kids run around and they don't necessarily play with the birthday child. I liked that while there was organized activity, the kids had free time as well.The staff was amazing. I've already recommended The Little Gym to my co-workers.

My active toddler has been attending The Little Gym for 10 months now and it is one of her favorite places. She took her first steps here. The Bugs class was useful in providing activities to do with your little one, while the Birds class provides older babies/toddlers a safe environment to practice their walking, climbing, running and balancing. The instructors are always warm, enthusiastic, and remember your child by name. The open practice time is a big plus during the colder and crazy hot months.

We held my son’s 5th birthday party at The Little Gym of Montclair. The staff was attentive and wonderful with the children! I dropped off decorations and food in advance and they set up and cleaned up. I highly recommend hosting your child’s party there! We did superhero training and my son felt like a superstar! Thanks to the staff for an amazing experirnce!

Our family loves The Little Gym of Montclair! My sons have been taking infant/toddler classes there for a couple years, and I have been so impressed with their program, the cleanliness of the facility, and the warmth of the teachers. We would definitely recommend it!

Great place for birthdays. Had my daughter's 5yr birthday there. Ages ranged from 1.5 to 10 yrs old and everyone had a blast. They allowed us to make the party 2 hrs long since we took the last slot of the day. Good mix of structured activities and free play. Staff was great, accommodating to our requests and made sure the kids had fun. Would definitely recommend.
