Steve Blackmon is a excellent trainer. His attention to detail, expertise as a personal trainer coupled with the meal plan set you up for success. His gym offers a variety of fitness activities allowing the clients to “mix it up” and build strength and flexibility.He understands it’s a fitness journey not a race. He believes taking one day at a time and stay committed to your fitness goals and you will be successful!

I met with Steve in March 2021 and knew pretty quickly I had found something that would work for me. I began working out with Steve 2 days a week and moved to 3 days a week after a few months. I love that every workout is different, but builds on concepts we’ve worked on before. Steve works with my schedule when necessary as well.AAA is the first fitness concept that has ever made me feel comfortable. Not only is Steve great, but his customer base is made up of a bunch of good, positive people that support one another on their fitness journeys.One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was working with Steve. I’m significantly healthier and stronger in only 7 months and excited to keep going.

I started with AAA fitness over the summer to get back in shape and start my journey to a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Steve has created a personalize workout plan in conjunction with nutrition and monitoring if my body fat, measurements and weight. There are a variety of options available to me including individual sessions, group workout sessions, a wonderful support group, and many other resources to ensure lifelong success. I am so grateful for having found Steve and AAA fitness. AAA fitness has given me the tools to successfully reach my goals.

My daughter was trained by Steve at AAA Fitness. He is an amazing trainer and more importantly person. She was a two sport high school athlete and Steve was able to complete training programs that suited her specific needs according to what season she was in. He trains the total athlete. Steve helps them not only get stronger, but helps athletes achieve their full potential by discussing the importance of sleep and nutritional habits as well. Steve definitely goes above and beyond for his clients. I would highly recommend going to AAA Fitness no matter what your age or fitness background is!!

I started training with Steve in May 2017. I’ve never enjoyed the gym and always struggled to stick with a fitness program, but Steve has completely changed my outlook. He’s incredibly knowledgeable not only about fitness, but how the body moves. He tailors workouts to your individual needs, is extremely flexible with scheduling, and makes working out fun and easy.In just a few months of twice a week workouts, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, more confident and I have more energy than ever. If you’re even slightly considering trying a personal trainer, I urge you to talk to Steve — it’s been the best decision I made for myself in a long time.

Steve is an absolutely excellent personal trainer. He builds relationships, understands your goals and develops a customized program so that you achieve them. I train two days a week, as does my daughter who is a high school athlete just coming back from major knee surgery. As you can imagine we have very different needs and Steve ensures we each get the most out of each session. He teaches me something every time and has built my confidence while working out. He is an expert in the weight room, but it is his personal care that makes him such a great trainer. I highly recommend Steve.

Steve Blackmon is a truly excellent trainer. He is the perfect combinationof tough trainer you want when you don't want to make excuses and you need that extra little push to achieve the goals that you have set for yourself. Steve does a pre check, this allows him to see where you are physically and while he is doing this, he is having conversation to see where you are mentally in terms of your objectives and long and short term goals.  He works with the whole person -- mentally, emotionally and physically. Because of his efforts, I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly I am back on track to the goals that I had set for myself.The results I have achieved to date are largely due to Steve's combinationof various training methods, individualized exercise programs & challenging yet achievable goal setting. His professionalism, extensive knowledge and enthusiastic can do attitude only add to his commitment to work for you as a trainer.To put more of a personal perspective on Steve and AAA Fitness.  Steve isthe first trainer that I have had since I was in High School.  I have workedout for over 36 years at various locations.  I had always considered a trainer, yet I felt they were a waste of money as I would watch them at various gyms where I trained.  Most of them appeared to be disinterested or there to charge money to individuals that did not know any better.  After observing Steve train other members for several months, I approached him about training plans and meal plans.  Well it has been 7 months and we are still at it.  If you are tired of making excuses and you want a trainer that is invested in your overall fitness, then you need to give AAA Fitness and Steve Blackmon an opportunity to help you accomplish your goals.

I am not a prolific reviewer but I feel compelled to write about my experience with Steve and AAA Fitness. I was a sedentary person who did not think about my food and drink choices. I kept going up a size and up a size until finally, I decided to get a trainer to help me improve myself and learn about fitness and nutrition.I had a lot of anxiety about it at the outset. I didn't know how to navigate a gym, how to use the equipment, I was nervous about wearing workout clothes, etc. I am so glad that a friend connected me with Steve because he made me feel comfortable from the first day. With a depth of knowledge and the perfect balance of understanding and push, Steve has effectively helped change my life for the better. I am still on my journey but I have made great strides in the 8 months we've worked together. My weight is down, I have less join pain, I am stronger and I feel more confident.Going to the gym and working out with Steve is a lot of fun! We talk about music, sports, food, current events...the time flies by! The workouts have a lot of variety and Steve makes modifications if I have any discomfort. I've found the exercises challenging but when I finish, I feel empowered and excited to keep improving.Steve is very professional, noticeably more so than other trainers that I see around the gym. You can trust that he is punctual and personable, and he personalizes the experience in a way that makes you feel valued as a client and that your investment is well worth it.

I began my personal training journey with Steve mid January 2017. I have worked with several trainers on and off over the last 5-7 years. Steve is by far one of the most knowledgeable and professional personal trainers I have worked with to date.I, like many people had to start my fitness journey over again this past January. While I was knowledgeable regarding proper eating habits, physical health and fitness, I was out of practice and sometimes it takes a little push from the experts to motivate you. Since I was introduced to Steve he has been a great motivator and driving force behind my success of the last almost 8 months of training. Not only does he meet your physical fitness needs, he has been an impactful, emotional support as well. The wellness journey is one paved with many ups and downs, setbacks and stalls. Steve has always been there to encourage and propel me through times when I've been especially down and hard on myself. I receive a sense from Steve that he is invested in me and believes in me that I can overcome new tasks and hurdles introduced by him. I am very much looking forward to my continued growth, strength and development in my partnership with Steve.
