I so thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Art of Yoga that i took 3 classes in 3 days during my visit there.!!The owner Chris is accomplished and he has a range of instructors and activities at the studio which had the feeling of a haven.I have been to studios all over the country, most notably in LA, Miami, and DC, hotbeds for yoga. Imagine my delight at the first rate yet challenging experience I had as a 20 year practitioner back here in my hometown of Columbus Ga.The entry and practice space exuded atmosphereand that yoga vibe, the staff, (even the guests) were helpful and full of hospitality, and the classes started and ended on time. There was a wide range of classes on the menu and i especially liked the owner Chris’ range of motion class which i hadnt experienced at any other studio. The moving hot yoga was hot and challenging..i took a couple of child poses to regroup...but even there, they offer a milder gentler yet effective hot yoga entree for the cautious. In addition, i got the hook up to the local healthy eating spots in town.Great experience! If you are in Columbus Ga, Go!!’

Home. The Art of Yoga is my home, because home is where the heart is. I have loved everything this studio has brought into my life, the friendships, opportunities, values, positive experiences, emotional releases, peace, love, serenity, joy, and was that one place when my days couldn’t have gotten any worse, that I met Chris. The true doctor of yoga who saved my life in more ways then one. Find the unconditional love within yourself that this studio has shown within me and then together, you’ll be with me at home and at peace. Thank you Chris for everything! 🙏

I travel frequently and have been to various yoga studios throughout the country. Art of Yoga is easily my favorite. It’s clear the instructors are deeply committed to their practice and to ensuring each individual has the best experience. Not only have I left each session feeling like I got a great workout, but more importantly I always feel refreshed and connected to my body, spirit, and inner purpose. The instructors really emphasize and are skilled in leading everyone in mindful mediation, this unfortunately has become more rare in most of the yoga studios I’ve visited. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, if you come to Art of Yoga with an open mind, you will leave changed every time! Can’t wait for my next session.

For starters the ambience was serene and welcoming. This was my first time doing yoga and words cannot express how ready I am to go back! My body feels more relaxed and my mind feels calm. I had a personal one on one with me and my partner. Doing yoga with him was an experience that I deemed necessary to achieve a higher level of confidence in our connection. My partner enjoyed it so much more than I expected!

I have experienced many years of lower back pain, and can say I am now pain free since attending various classes. Christopher has a most tranquil studio that I enjoy attending several times per wee. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

I have been an active participant for less than six months, at Art of Yoga. Today, after practice, I remembered having pain walking up stairs... worried that age was catching up to me. Pain-free now, I credit my yoga practice to turning back the clock!

It's been an amazing journey discovering Yoga. I first started at home off and on beginning in 2020 at a stressful time with a job I had been in for over a decade and 5 of them highly stressful. But it wasn't until December of 2022 when I got into Art of Yoga and finally took instruction in a class. Everyone there is amazing. It's incredibly welcoming, and you feel this release from life the moment you walk in and it carries with you on your way home. Chris has been a significant source in correcting so many things about my overall fitness and health and my understanding of Yoga. Naomi has been an amazing source of education of Yoga and has helped me reduce aches and pains in my hips and lower back through her classes. Guess what? They got Tai Chi, also! I've always wanted to learn more about other cultures and how they heal their bodies naturally. I always leave Tai Chi feeling spiritually lifted and free of stress. Art of Yoga has a lifelong member here.
