This place is an absolute gem. First and foremost, the cleanliness of SMTF is seriously impressive. I am a stickler for a tidy environment, and let me tell you, this gym passes my cleanliness test with flying colors! The people here are also just top-notch humans. The trainers and clients at SMTF are like one big, fitness family. It's impossible not to feel the positivity and kindness radiating throughout the space. Lexi, my personal trainer, is an absolute rockstar! She not only crafts workouts that challenge me in all the right ways, but she also takes the time to explain the 'whys' and 'hows' behind each exercise. It's like having my very own fitness guru who truly cares about my progress. Lexi is a shining light in my week, no doubt about it. Her infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm make every session feel fun, even when I'm sweating buckets! She's not just a trainer, she's a friend who pushes me to be the best version of myself. I can't express how much my health and wellness have improved since joining SMTF and working with Lexi. I've seen incredible results, both physically and mentally. I love the gym! It’s an amazing atmosphere and I feel so confident going in there. I personally work out with Nevaeh and she is AMAZING. I can’t express to you how great she is. She pushes me to be the best I can be and she is always so encouraging and has helped me meet some of my goals already. I can’t recommend this gym or Nevaeh enough, if you’re looking for someone you need to check her out and the gym as well ❤️❤️

I’m in my 30s and started about a year ago working out a few times each week with Jim at SMTF and so far I’ve lost and kept off 25 lbs, my cholesterol and overall health has improved significantly according to my doctor, and I’ve gained quite a bit of muscle since starting. I’m in better shape now than I ever have been, including back when I was in sports in school. 1000% would recommend.

Jason is one in a million. He really knows his stuff and is supportive both in and out of the gym. Every session has always been focused on the long term goals and his approach to training has always been from a place of personal experience and professional studies. He's flexible, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to truly be there for his clients. In my time training with him, I've never once had any complaints. Ive gotten real results and am incredibly thankful for all the work I have been able to put in under his training guidance. Do yourself a favor and schedule with Jason. Future you will know it as the greatest decision you ever made.

I’ve been training with Alyssa Drown for over 8 months now and she’s the best. I come in to workout and know I will be challenged but also be encouraged. I feel like I’m working out with a friend and she always makes me feel 100% comfortable.Self Made as a gym itself is great. The owners, Jim and Angelis, are amazing. The gym is always clean and the equipment is very well taken care of. The environment is always fun and inviting, which was a huge plus when I started coming here because I had some anxiety about working out in commercial gyms. I would recommend Self Made to any of my friends or family in a heartbeat.

Karlee Gilliam at Self Made has changed my life for the better! I had never worked with a trainer before so I was a little nervous but she made things so comfortable! She truly cares about her clients and their goals. Her workouts are amazing and she makes the entire session so fun! I’ve noticed a huge difference in my body and also my attitude since I’ve started training with her! Everyone at Self Made is super friendly and welcoming. That gym is nothing but good vibes!

If you’re looking for a gym with a great atmosphere and trainers, you’ve found it. I’ve been with Lexi for almost two years after leading my own fitness journey for a few years prior. The community I’ve found here and results that have come from working with Lexi have been so impactful to my life. I highly recommend Self Made for anyone currently on a fitness journey or looking to start. The culture Lexi creates for her team is one of a kind.

Lexi is a phenomenal coach! Her programs are intentionally designed to build functional strength. She’s great at modifying/customizing workouts to target areas of weakness. She prioritizes teaching good form to keep exercises safe and effective. I’ve seen huge improvements in my hip, knee, and ankle mobility in just five months. The community she builds is supportive, encouraging, and so much fun!!

If you are looking for a personal trainer look no further than Karlee Gilliam of KG Fit at Self Made Training Facility. I started doing personal training sessions with Karlee after having my first baby. Karlee taught me about the importance of weight lifting and the nutrition component of training as well. I lost 30 pounds from my post pregnancy body to now and was so happy to have Karlee help me achieve my fitness goals. She is so wonderful to work with and even helped train my 60 year old mom. She is skilled with every fitness level and can modify to your exact needs. She offers group training, one on one sessions, or a drop in class on Sundays.

Yasmin has been an amazing coach and trainer to work with. Initially I was worried about coming to the gym after taking quite a few years off after college. She’s restored my confidence in the gym and has helped make working out a habit and routine. She’s very knowledgeable about workout equipment, form, structure and routine and tailors sets to my individual needs. Her workout plans and schedules are set to align with and accomplish my personal goals. Would highly recommend working with Yasmin.
