Been a member here for 2 years and it has been a great experience. The coaches have shown great care and expertise and helped countless others including myself get into the best shape of our lives. Very thankful that I went here

Today, I visited Uncommon Athlete and worked out with my sister as a drop in.Trust me, their name says it all! I have never been to a training facility quiet like it. I was challenged and definitely taken out of my comfort zone. I loved that even though it was a group training class, the coach took the time to work with us individually to make sure our form was correct. It was a great experience!!!

Uncommon Athlete is the perfect mix of instruction, coaching, and well-planned workouts. The atmosphere is encouraging, but coaches are diligent about instructing and correcting proper form for high-intensity interval training and fitness training. Quite often I get 1:1 training, and the past six months have been the best gym experience I’ve had since leaving the Army 20 years ago.At 58, I would not put up with pressure from staff or fellow gym members about my performance, but I have never felt such pressure at UA. My performance is dependent upon me, but the staff all are well versed in bringing out the best performance I have in me. This place has literally changed my life.I do note that many members are far advanced in their fitness training compared to me. I have also noted that they received attention from the coaches as necessary, and any critiques I have heard, or experienced, have always been constructive.I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I am with UA. I encourage you to meet the staff, and owner Daryl Mons, if you are scouting for a new place.

Clean, quaint and friendly staff. Not your typical brand gym. More of a personalized, one on one family/friend type gym, with group small group sessions. Not a gym of slamming weights on the floor, bear growls, or mirror looking selfie taking photos. The works out are challenging. They do train lots of Rangers, Soldiers, and those who are serious about having a healthy fit lifestyle. They even offer specialized sessions for cancer survivors. The name says it All..Uncommon Athlete. Be, Train and Enjoy (yep, I used the word enjoy) an Uncommon atmosphere for training and transformation workouts. Grrrr💪
