The workouts are different each time. These are challenging and the trainers are very kind and encouraging. My 14 year son and I have been members for several years and we enjoy going. The team feels like family and they always make us happy to be there.

Even though I've only been coming to 9rounds for a short period of time, I already feel apart of this community! The people here are so kind and friendly. It really helps that the trainers are here to help motivate me and hold me accountable for my goals. All of the workouts are different so you don't get bored with the same thing everyday.

Had the opportunity to workout here for several months prior to moving. The Owners are Very professional individuals - care about your fitness. Every workout was AWESOME! Studio is very clean, trainers very professional, polite, and well versed in providing workout instructions. Really enjoyed being here! Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to this location for about a year now. 9 Round is awesome and this location is the best! All of the trainers at Afton are amazing, they get to know you and push you to do better/more as well as encourage you through the whole workout. There’s also great community at this location and lots of friendly people! The workouts are challenging but super fun and you always feel accomplished after you finish. They have great weekly challenges for whole gym with lots of giveaways, but you’re only ever competing against yourself, which I love. Overall I love 9 round more than any other workout class/gym membership I’ve tried. This is a quick workout but really effective, easy to fit into my schedule and they’re even really friendly and great with my kid!

I come in, do my workout, and then I leave! I love that I don’t have to figure out what to do. The workouts are unique and different every time. It keeps me excited and makes me look forward to the next workout! 30 minutes is perfect for me because I’m always busy. It makes me have no excuse but to get in, work out, and then continue my day! I leave stronger, sweaty and smiling every time.

9Round Afton Village is fantastic. I came for my first workout towards the end of January and John and Kobe were awesome in explaining everything and making it super easy. It is a challenging HIIT workout that changes daily. You go to nine different stations for three minutes each with 30 seconds between stations, for a really effective 30 minute workout.I am woefully overweight and terribly out of shape. I was nervous about coming here for fear that I might do well with the workout given my fitness level. This fear was immediately quelled by John and Kobe who are experts at choreographing your entire workout to help you meet your goals. They have been able to modify certain exercises to better fit my current fitness level, particularly for core and body weight exercises which I've found challenging. It's been really exciting to see how much I've progressed with the workout since I started. There are people of all shapes, sizes, and ages at 9Round Afton and they are all getting a workout built for them. I've never felt out of place or like I was being judged at 9Round.While I've never been one to really "enjoy the gym," I have come to really love this workout. Even when it sucks, you're only ever 3 minutes away from switching it up and working on something different. While it is a "kickboxing" workout, it's really more focused on being high intensity cardio. You wear a heart monitor and try to stay in the green or yellow zones, the ideal fat burning zone. You can see if you need to step up your intensity or maybe scale it back a bit. Despite being focused on the cardio, the kickboxing is super fun and has a stress relief aspect to it. Six of the nine stations are dedicated to hitting or kicking something which has it's mentally therapeutic benefits, especially if you think of a stressor while you strike.What is even better than the workout is the people. Kobe, John, and his wife Tracy do a really fantastic job. I actually want to go to the gym because I know they are going to be excited to see me. They have all shown a real interest in my health and my goals. I've been visiting the gym for about two months now, I've completed 33 work outs in that time and lost about 15 pounds. I haven't really fixed my diet yet, so I'm sure my results will be substantially better once I get that under control. John and Kobe are constantly asking me questions about how my diet is going and giving me valuable tips along the way which I'm starting to incorporate into my routine.Overall, this is a fantastic workout orchestrated by some really awesome people. I accomplish more here in 30 minutes than I could ever do on my own and it's because John and Kobe are there to push me to be my best. All I have to do it get there and walk in the door, John and Kobe will do the rest. Give this place a try, I think you'll like it.

Loved this place and I hate that I moved away from Concord. The team is very personable and close knit; seeing that they develop a personal relationship with you which is what I appreciate. You’re not just a number at 9Round Afton Village.I was a member on and off since 2018 and each time I went back was better than the last. The team works towards your fitness goals and continues to positively push you towards meeting your capabilities. John, Tracy, Kobe, Theo and the rest of the team, you’re leading by example!! I just finished my 2nd month at 9Rounds Afton and love it! I’m 55 and have always been pretty active. I was a runner until I fractured both bones in my ankle a year ago. After gaining 24 lbs because of 10 months of total inactivity, I was looking for something new to get me back in shape that was less high impact and not so boring! I NEVER looked forward to running but actually look forward to 9Rounds! It’s a great full body workout and your done in 30 minutes! John and Tracy are so encouraging! Kobe is my trainer in the early morning hours and he’s a great teacher and motivator! Go for your free first trial workout! You’ll be so glad you did!

Pie in the face style work out, no thinking just do. The 9 rounds are a perfect workout for me. It has been very hard to get motivated at other gyms. My morning workouts give me energy for the day. I have been doing this for about two months, I have lost about 20 lbs. and really feel so much better. I highly recommend this style workout to others like me who need the cardio and motivation to a self style work out that only I am in control of under the guidance of a trainer and my heart monitor!!!

The owners and staff here are awesome! They are great trainers and very encouraging. The workout is difficult but tailored to your individual ability. My wife wanted a membership for her birthday and we have been going for about two weeks now and really enjoy it. We think it's a lot more fun and a lot better work out than when we used to just go to the YMCA. We would highly recommend trying this if you're looking for a good total body workout.
