Garbage place. Don't waste your money here! My sister and I had to FORCE ourselves to go. The app had a bug that I couldn't fix myself, and they did nothing about it.They have one small unisex sauna that fat guys would sit shirtless in. They didn't even have designated time for men or women. The kids were EVERYWHERE, including in the body pump classes! Not that it mattered since their daycare room was hardly ever staffed, and it lacked a ceiling on the first floor. It was therefore open and connected to the mini gym (now sealed off) and the second floor cardio room. Do you know what it's like to try to workout with blood curdling screams for THIRTY MINUTES?! We even had noise canceling headphones and could still hear them. Like most people, the gym is our therapy time. Not at SC!Also, they allowed the kids into the hot tub which isn't even legally allowed because their circulatory system isn't mature enough to handle the heat. It could dilate their blood vessels to the point where they could faint, and if they are unattended, they could drown. My grandmother was a cardiac nurse for over thirty-five years. The staff also got the weight room redesigned, which wasn't needed, and got rid of the step-up stools that we loved. And they were still in really good condition, unlike most of the other equipment. We would've taken those stools.Another thing was the outside pool area has a kids pool, but they still went into the big pool meant for the adults. And there's no designated adult or kids only swim time for the indoor pool.Oh, and a lot of the adults in the weight room didn't follow the rules of proper gym clothing, especially the women. Plus, a lot of the men would drop their weights and grunt obnoxiously. The cardio room was always ridiculously warm or hot, and the weight room was often too warm as well.

This gym is without a doubt the best gym around! The people are great, the facility is top notch, and the classes take it over the top. If you want to try out CrossFit come join a CrossFit Cabarrus class and let it change your life.

Owner I believe came and yelled at me about being in the parking lot too long when I was on my phone in my car. Not only did he curse at me when I tried to defend my self and tell him what I’m doing he said don’t talk back or u will be suspended. I left and took a bouta a week break I go regularly now but it was very off putting!

The Sportscenter has amazing staff and amenities. I recently started personal training with Ryan W., I was a bit nervous about weightlifting since I had no prior experience. 3 months later I am much more comfortable around the weightroom I am down 13lbs and down 5% body fat. Thanks for being an awesome coach Ryan!

Honestly, if I could get my $300 that I paid for membership back , i would because this has been the most unprofessional center I’ve ever made the mistake of working out at. Guys constantly staring, staff does nothing when brought up to their attention and to top it all off, they do not treat couriers with respect. On more than one occasion, I’ve seen delivery drivers bring heavy orders from Sams Club, and the drivers say that Randy never leaves any tip. Horrible establishment that only cares about lining their pockets. Will not return.

A little over three months ago I started personal training with Ryan W. at the Sportscenter. Being in my 40's, I know that strength training is very important as I continue to get older. I could never have achieved this level of strength on my own or in group classes.Ryan is very knowledgeable, patient, motivating, and pays close attention to make sure you are doing an exercise correctly (with careful respect to injuries). He keeps track of my progress and continues to help me achieve my fitness and nutrition goals. I'm feeling better, stronger, and more confident than I have in years! It has been a great experience to see Ryan push me beyond what I believed were my limits. I highly recommend Ryan as a personal trainer!

CHILD CARE, swim, eat snacks and drink smoothies, spa, exercise, cycling classes, zumba, stair climb, row, racketball, basketball, weight room, and more!!! I mean doesn't anyone want to just have 30 min of silence while your on the track or row machine?! No "mami? Mami!? Mami?" I will always love my kid!
