Disgustingly dirty ALL the time. Never see staff cleaning or pressure cleaning the wet common areas, they only camouflage it with tons of bleach that burns your nose & eyes. Broken chairs, old workout equipment, wood broken off different places in the sauna with rusty nails sticking out that are barely visible. I almost hurt myself on one! I informed the front desk staff. Nothing has been done about it. A lawsuit waiting to happen! The steam room and jacuzzi broken again and down for months while they are "waiting on a part". I go to this location specifically for the sauna & steam room, but am not getting my $30/month worth. They clearly don't care about customer safety, satisfaction, or a sanitary environment. Absolutely terrible

The place is usually clean, and everyone minds their own business which is great when you’re looking to focus. The front desk employees are very helpful and friendly and they have an array of machines to be used.

It’s one of the better LA fitness. Just take forever to get something fixed such as the Steam room that has been down for 2 weeks now…before that hot tub was down for months. We all pay our memberships and I think fixing things at a decent time should be provided for the members

Been with LA for over 20 years and my son came into town on military leave, and wanted to work out. I gave him card. They informed me that he couldn't workout with my card and it would be 20$ for the day. I get it!! Policies. They couldn't extend me a courtesy and allow him a one day pass? This marriage is over. Thank you Planet Fitness. Thanks for welcoming us with open arms.

Great location but the equipment need to be upgraded. Some of The leather on the benches needs repair. The area where the free weights are kept, needs sanitizing. There's always a strong odor on the free weights and the free weight rack itself. I am thinking about canceling my membership specifically because the machines needs to be upgraded.

My experience LA Fitness on July 41 was horrible there no water the toilets were overflow with toilet paper and eve5else you don't need to see I didn't understand why the bathrooms were closed off with a sign and an announcement made. It was very unsanitary a gym carring on with no water shameful

I like it because it has what I'm looking for but this place really needs an upgrade and staff to keep it clean. Thank God the members aren't that messy.They have a huge space for desks, and I'm not really sure why when they need to upgrade the jacuzzi and make it bigger. That jacuzzi looks so freaking nasty!! I would never go inside. The stream room is working one day, and the next is broken. What's up with that!?!?I like the locker room, and the shower has a lot of space. However, can you buy shower heads and manage the water pressure better. Like what the heck.The machines are old and rusted. Some of the paints on the wall are bubbling, and I pray we are not getting sick being in there. The place needs a new paint job. Like deco, design and details mean a lot!! Please make the necessary changes at least to the bubbling paint and have the stream room always working. Also, hire younger staff that can manage keeping the place clean! Please take care of the problem areas ASAP. PLEASE

You're paying a premium for a gym that has dumbbells scattered all over the place (Two five pound dumbbells were in a single dumbbell spot labelled "25"), tons of equipment that is showing wear to where they need to be replaced, and a staff where there's only two people in the place, and one is chilling behind the desk doing very little. This is without a doubt the worst gym I've been in. Shame on the management laying back and doing nothing about this terrible gym.

I just canceled my membership because this place is falling apart. The SPA area needs a deep cleaning with a high-pressure hose. Old equipment and poor customer service. The hygiene conditions in the bathrooms and spa area are extremely poor.

I've been a member for 6 years. I would cancel my membership if there were anything comperable in the area for the price I am grandfathered into. Also, I enjoy the group fitness classes, those instructors, and have some friends among the members. That's the good. However...This location recently changed from an LA Fitness to Esporta, and from my understanding, Esporta is considered the lower end locations for Fitness Intl. Thankfully, my membership still gives me access to the other LAF locations in the area.Staff is a revolving door. Most of them start out helpful and nice, but there is no point in learning any of their names, none of them last more than 6 months. The employee I've known the longest was just recently fired for a frivolous reason, most likely so they can hire someone cheaper, she had worked there for over 10 years! But she's the only employee who was still there since when I had joined. Don't think that working here will lead to long term employment.Equipment goes missing and is never replaced. The 30 lb preloaded bar disappeared over the summer. I keep being told new ones were ordered, but they have never appeared after months of requests. There are not nearly enough 7.5 lb weights. There are literally 3 10 lb dumbbells in the place. Yes, I've counted. Generally, women use these smaller weights, so we all have to ask each other to pass them on when they are done with them.The floors in the Workout area and locker rooms are grungy. There are places where the floor is warped for years and it's never been fixed.The showers are horrible, with no real shower heads. The water practically comes out of a pipe in the wall. Water sprays everywhere. I don't bother using them.There is just a dinginess to the whole place. You can see that the janitors are cleaning regularly, but I wouldn't walk around barefoot.If you are considering joining, don't be fooled by the low price on the sign. That is for ONLY this location, you can't go to the other nearby LAFs with that basic membership. And you will want to.I've added some photos. Cropped to avoid showing any people.
