Fortis MMA is the premier MMA gym in the country for all levels. Sayif Saud is a legend and takes personal interest in the development of his Fortis Family. My friend and trainer for the last 7 years, Damon Jackson, leads a high profile list of trainers with the new Lakeside, and is as good as anyone at motivating and instructing on MMA, jiujitsu, and kick boxing. Visit this gem in Rockwall and I promise you will not be disappointed! The skill and fitness benefits I and countless others have achieved is palpable.

I’m a Muay Thai enthusiast and have been practicing for a little while now. I was out of town visiting Dallas, had a free morning and was looking to break a sweat and clear my head a little. As luck would have it Fortis was about a 15 min walk from my hotel and I figured I’d drop by, see if I could join a class. If nothing else, I’d be happy to just watch. Had a wonderful little conversation with the owner Sayif Saud and while they don’t really do drop ins, he was gracious enough to let me work out. The gym itself is top notch and clean. Class was friendly and Ocho the coach was able to cultivate an environment with good intensity as well as technical instruction. I read on the website afterwards that they cap the gym size which I really admire. Takes a lot of dedication to your gym community to say no to more money and focus on the people you have. Big thumbs up!

Went to try out this gym because I was interested in getting into training for mma. Started off as a great experience the Owner/Coach Saud wife showed me around the gym and I was really impressed by the gym and she also explained to me how it works and the classes that they have. I expressed to her that I was very interested in joining the gym and she told me her husband will be in later so I can talk to him about prices. I stayed to try out the classes that started at 6pm & 7pm everyone in the classes where extremely nice and very helpful, so I couldnt wait to talk to the owner about prices. When he first came in I spoke to him and he didn’t say anything he just walked past me which was rude but I really wasn’t tripping. I walked up to him again and let him know I was new and I was interested in joining the gym and I would like to know the prices on joining the gym.At this point he spoke to me but he would not give me his name. He started to ask me questions about what do I do then he gave me a card and told me his gym may be full just email him. IM GOOD BRO THERE IS TO MANY OTHER GYMS TO TRAIN AT ! Overally, the gym was good just disappointed at the attitude and customer service of Coach Saud

I don't leave many reviews, but Coach Saud, the other coaches, and the gym are simply exceptional. I have attended Fortis for about a year now. The coaches are experienced and give you real life training and tips. Moreover, tell them your goals and they will help to focus your training (including dietary tips) to accomplish them. Coach Saud is personally invested in each member and it shows. Don't hesitate to try this place out. If the gym membership is at capacity, Coach Saud will keep you in mind for when/if a spot becomes available.

This is MMA education at its best. The facilities are top of the line, the coaches are experts in their fields with real world fighting experience, and their results speak for themselves. If you're serious about getting a well rounded, MMA education that works, look no place else.
