My experience was not welcoming and uncomfortable. I had a PT session scheduled w one of the trainers and immediately he sat me down and said to me he didn’t want to waste my time or his time and went straight to the point and asked if I was going to end up w a trainer. Just because I know all of the equipment a trainer is someone who is motivating someone to workout it’s more than just showing somebody how to move their body and educating them. What if I wanted to have the session and then sleep on my decision if I wanted to move forward. That encounter left a bad taste in my mouth. 0 stars if I could

The club’s pretty good. The people who greet you are at the front desk are cheerful and I like the fact that the pool is well-lit and there’s a hot tub. The main downside of this place is that it’s just always dirty. The grout in the locker room and pool area is black, the tiles are permanently gritty and stained — it all needs a good chlorine soak—and there’s always trash and used towels everywhere — and sometimes abandoned clothes and shoes which can sit for days. It also galls me that they don’t keep anything in a formal lost and found. If you leave something at the club, you can probably say bye-bye to it. They say it’s a “liability issue” to maintain this kind of service—a flimsy excuse.

I’ve been a member at several LAs, going to this location for the last 2 years. Since new management and remodeling, this gym has definitely improved. Machines are all new & working, everything is cleanish. The new functional area is nice. …

I ignored the less than stellar reviews. Give me a break this place is great, staff was amicable, not one machine out of service. Locker room and showers were way cleaner than a rats nest of a gym I went to in Kew Gardens.

I rarely bother writing reviews for places like this because commenting on poor attitude or customer service seems pointless when employees are underpaid and mistreated. Nevertheless, here's my experience:During my first visit this month, I got a notification on the app that my card hadn't been charged due to being replaced and still in the mail. I informed the front desk and they said they'd make a note on my profile. The next day, a different staff member addressed the same issue, and I explained the situation again. Today, I mentioned it to the front desk person, and the regional supervisor overheard, saying there was a balance. I calmly reiterated that I'm waiting for the card. He insisted on the balance, so I asked the amount. He said it was for a month, to which I responded, "Okay, I'm aware. Why make a scene when I've explained and left notes?" He threatened to deny me entry, so I asked for his name; he introduced himself as Jheron T., the regional supervisor.I told him his attitude was poor and unjustified, as I had already addressed the matter with the front desk. He refused to provide his full name, exemplifying the typical misuse of power.

Would rate zero stars if I could. The air conditioning in the cycle room has been broken for two months and they have done nothing about it. They didn’t even offer to bring a fan. …

I wish I would’ve used a guest pass to look at it first. SO disappointed, the atmosphere in there is so yucky. Every machine is outdated, it’s so hot in there ( i don’t think their AC works) and it’s crowded. The girl in the front desk is …

A friend of mine recommended the HIIT by LA Fitness class. It was a high intensity interval training class that was comparable to Orange Theory or F 45. However, the pricing was perfect, unlike the other programs. For about a year or so, I …

Staff members are wonderful but the location is questionable. I would take precaution on the location of your parked vehicle when working out here. Overall if you take those steps, you will have a favorable workout.

It’s my favorite LA by far, nice equipment, plenty of space, clean most of the time. The employees seem to be nonchalant which is fine but you can have a half decent gym with kind employees that makes a world of difference. A “have a nice work out” or a “have a nice day” or even a “see you next time” goes a long way.
